I feel awful to say this cuz I like LinYi but this drama is a miss. Nothing develops properly, the screenplay is messy, their romance never takes off and seems forced. You don’t get to get attached to anything going on. The only nice things are:
1. Zhou Ye (FL) creates a consistent character you end up linking, with a tomboyish vibe and attitude.
2. LinYi (ML) delivers his heartwarming domestic scenes as we are used to seeing him do. But these are FEW.
3. Music is nice SOMETIMES.

I could list a lot of what goes wrong but I just don’t have the energy cuz it’s a lot.
