The best lakorn are the one when you least anticipate

Some things I want to point out first that I have a feeling people are going to have an issue with:

1. Infidelity/polygamy: I wouldn't necessarily says the ML committed a polygamy relationship nor had an affair. Tai had an amnesia and was led on to think that him and Pin are a married couple. Let alone had this beautiful and romantic relationship which all only exist in Pin imagination. Did Tai chose to be in a relationship with Pin willingly? Naaah. I also don't think Tai was actually in love with Pin during the duration he was married to her. He thought he was married so of course he's going to act the part of a husband.

2. Amnesia: the thing about amnesia plot is you either like it or don't. The good thing is that Tai gradually recalled bit and pieces of his memories. With that said, he didn't get his memories back until episode 12. I personally didn't mind the amnesia, I enjoyed the time he had the amnesia and IMO the plot didn't feel like it was dragged due to the amnesia.

3. Please note this drama do include a sexual assault scene. This may be a trigger and sensitive to some. One thing I will say is that this production did a better job at covering SA than their previous one.

Puen and Chippy seriously have the best chemistry together, it is just on fire! I love how Puen portrayed both of his characters as Tai and Trai. You can definitely differentiate the two identities, Tai who is a hot headed person, cold and tough, someone who was betrayed, and want to avenge his father death. Trai who is calm, soft, understanding and loving. Puen really nailed this role, you can see how good of an actor he is just by how his facial expression and tone shift between the two identities. One thing I really appreciate/love about the ML in this lakorn is how much we can see Tai love for Pla through his actions and feelings. The longing of the lost moments, times and separation whenever he embraces Pla.

Chippy play her role really well too. I love the personality she put in her character as Pla in the beginning. However as the plot starts to develop I find her character quite irrational. How much more does Tai need to show and express that she's the only one he loved and care for. Pla only get dumber by each episode.

This is a lakorn that was done right to my liking. I usually have a lot of things to complain about Thai lakorn, but this is the first lakorn where I feel satisfied. The plot include the typical amnesia, revenge, ML and FL married, and a kid. However with that said I don't recalled a specific lakorn that remind me of Ratee Luang. The plot actually move at such a quick paced in the first few episodes. Tai have his amnesia early on. We barely get enough romantic time between Tai and Pla at the farm. But we did got plenty in the later episodes.

An accident led Tai to have amnesia, and this is when he become Trai. Pin and her aunt led Tai to believe that him and Pin are a married couple. Due to the new identity, Pin, the aunt and Ruj moved Tai to an isolated area away from everyone at the farm. Manager Ruj went along with this scheme because he is in love with Pin and cannot bared to see her in misery. I cannot see how Ruj even like Pin to begin with, there's nothing likeable about her character. They all pretty much isolated Tai from anyone who knew him so that he would not recall his memories and leave Pin.

Six years later Pla also have a child and yes the father is Tai. Destiny eventually brought Pla and Tai/Trai to meet each other when Pla took a job at the place Trai and Pin moved to. Trai start to vividly see moments of a woman in his vision but cannot connect who this mysterious woman is. Trai also feel deeply connected to Pla and often questioned her whether they have known each other before.

I really wish Pin character was written better and not such a crazy, obsession and jealous person.
I can't even like her character nor pity her after what she encountered because of her obsession before and after her incident. However, I fully blamed the aunt for how Pin is. The aunt pretty much enabled her and practically raised Pin to be exactly like her. The aunt is super annoying and I cannot even bring myself to like her as well. I feel like I'm supposed to pitied her after being left on her wedding day but naah she's the worst. The aunt is seriously the sick villian in this drama.

Manager Ruj, I will say I hated his weak character and the way he just go with the flow with the aunt and Pin. However there is still goodness in him. I will says he deem himself worthy toward the end.

If there's one thing for improvement is the editing. There were so many abrupt scene, editing was kind of choppy and it wasn't even just one or two episodes. Nonetheless, this is a lakorn I will rewatch. F.Y.I the last two episodes are kind of messy.

Overall let me just say this, when I want to watch something cute and fluffy I stick with kdrama. If I want something dramatic, nonsensical, complicated, and non-logical I know Thai lakorn is the way to go for this. P.S. the after credit scene are such bonuses when I was watching this on air. If you been watching lakorn for a while then you shouldn't have high expectation as you probably already know how lakorn are. Nonetheless, this is the first lakorn I have finished in 2022 and didn't dropped.

Everyone has an opinion

This has got to be one of the hardest review I have ever written, not because of the things everyone was pissed about. But because I actually really like this lakorn. Personally, I like an arrange marriage, deceiving, dramatic, and complicated plot. (and toxic but that just me) It has been a while that I have seen a good plot from Thai lakorn. The last time I even really enjoyed a lakorn is Roy Leh Saneh Rai starring Tik and Aom, and that was a long time ago. So just a heads up that this is my type of genre. I might even be the only on here that like this lakorn.

I love a good slap kiss lakorn and I know it's not for everyone but that's what make Thai lakorn so different and unique from other dramas.

With that said, I do feel like a review is very much needed especially with all the backlash this lakorn received. I wanted to keep this review simple but I have personally been invested in this lakorn from the start that I just want to fully write my review and how I feel about this lakorn.

Firstly, the synopsis on here is partially correct. In this remake, Tawan is not related to Yadfad and her family (it is correct for the original version). Tawan lived with her mother and she's an online maid. Aside from the difference of Tawan and Yadfah not being related, they still follow the plot of Tawan being Yadah to marry Tohmon. Tawan occasionally work for Yadfah family. Tawan mother got sick and she needed money to pay her mom medical bill which led her to offer herself to be in place of Yadfah. I love a plot where FL is poor, independent, strong and striving. Tawan and Tohmom often run into each other but Tohmon never saw how she look like because Tawan always find a way to cover her face.

The first few episode were very comedic and rom-com that I will have to agreed that it is a bit too much. Some of the characters acting, the jokes, and the scenes overall was flat and dry. However, when you pass those scenes it's actually a good plot. The lakorn definitely took a turn and went to melo drama. Once the drama come on, oh boy, you better be prepared. You will feel so much hate and anger toward Tohmon.

I am very into a mean, cold-hearted, and heartless ML in lakorn so this plot was up my alley. Mai is such an amazing and underrated actor. I am so glad they chose Mai for this role. Mai played this character so well, he does such an amazing job at being an a-hole that I can't even hate him for long, he is so eye-candy. He does such a phenomenal job at conveying his expression. Mai carries out his jokes well and even his funny scenes. Not every actor can pull it off and Mai did great. As for Pie, this is her first FL role, I feel like she did great. She was able to portrayed her emotions, feelings, and expression well.

As for chemistry goes, I can see the chemistry between them. It is not those explosive and sexy chemistry but it's the kind of chemistry that make you still want to keep watching because both their acting are so good. Although, I was hoping for more of character development from Tohmon, his feelings toward Tawan wasn't as strong. It's the kind of lakorn where you can tell both leads have feelings for each other but it is not always as clear.

As for the nangrai, they are annoying but I definitely seen much worse, the nangrai in here are tolerable. Although I kind of wish that Sophit wasn't a bad person, in the episode she's very flirty with ML and he knows it too, he acknowledged her flirtiness but always reminds her that she is just his close friend. I was hoping that Sophit would just be the flirty secretary/friend who help Tohmon come to terms with his feelings for Tawan, but nope, Sophit just had to be a bad person.

Next is the backlash this lakorn received. There is a scene (episode 8-9) in here that may be a trigger to some audience. There is a scene that portrayed Tawan to be raped and everyone in the family has view Tawan differently. Rape is a very sensitive topic and never shall it ever be laugh at, make fun of or even joke about it. There should never be any victim blaming. I truly believe that there's not enough talk about rape in the community and there is no easy way to talk about it.

I understand that in the lakorn, especially Tohmon character could of assessed the situation better and be more supportive toward Tawan. In the episode, Tohmon character was portrayed as very disgusting of his wife after the incident. Every one of his actions definitely meant to be that way, perhaps. In my opinion, his actions came off that way, but he is just as hurt, he felt powerless as you can see his character changed. Tohmon actions were deeply rooted by pain of not being able to protect the person he love. He too went through a "traumatizing" incident of seeing his wife being kidnapped and "rape", not being able to do anything because he knows it is his fault to begin with. By no means I am justifying Tohmon and everyone else characters. He was definitely wrong for his actions.

With that said, I feel like this production took a risk and came upon a very sensitive topic that made many people upset. There is no easy way to address rape or rape survivors/victim blaming. This is the reality and the world we live in. As much as we want to perfect this topic in movies or lakorn, it is not perfect. There are ugly side to this topic as well. When we no longer talk about a topic or see it, (not just thai lakorn) it is so easily to forget that it does exist and that sympathy for the survivor is not always present. Don't twist my word and says that I am saying this is okay. I am simply saying, we see this happens in real life, we see how society treat some survivors and how much injustice there is in the world we live. I would of like it if the director, producer and writer included resources for the individual affected can seek help from. Both Tawan and Sophit went through a traumatizing event (we can see how this affected Sophit, her character changed, her mood switch, and she was always paranoid. This is the reality when a survivor went through a traumatizing incident). If there's anything that I am upset about, it's that the doctor didn't offer this help to Tawan.

I am sure many of you won't watch this lakorn after reading people comments and review. But honestly, you can read all of it and if this genre or topic is not for you, you are only wasting your time. At the end of the day, I know this is a scripted lakorn. People were already complaining that this lakorn was too comedic and now it is too dramatic. Either way, no lakorn is perfect. If you want to judge the logic of every lakorn then how can you ever enjoy them.

I genuinely like this lakorn and don't get me wrong, I was frustrated with Tohmon character but there's ways the innocent and hurt in his eyes when he see Tawan that just swoon me back in. It's has been a while that I can really say I enjoyed a lakorn from Ch3, their lakorn from last year was a huge disappointment for me. This one is so full of many emotions. I know some viewer will disagreed with me because of the direction they went and it also appears that this remake is completely different from the original. It's up to you to decide whether you want to watch or not. Be open minded and judge this yourself. If you do decide to watch it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Romance is super intense

I am quite amazed at how this lakorn turn out. First talking about James and Ice, I love love love, new pairing. I like seeing the development of each actor and actress when they are acting with others they haven't act with before. So as for pairing go, I did not have a problem.

I really like this 'bad' boy/temper of James character. One thing I really like about Theeruth is that his character is not weak, nor dumb and gullible. Theeruth has a strong character as ML. Also, I really love James in that SWAT outfit, he look super hot. Hopefully we get to see him act in a lakorn of police work/detective.

I don't watch any of Ice lakorn but I will say I love how she is able to portray some of the hard emotions and feelings in some scenes. Especially on the episode when Rawee got kidnap. Everyone in that scene, their emotion were so raw.

Storyline, maybe I am bias but I love this type of plot. If you watch westerner movie, this gave me the vibe of Knives Out and A Murder Mystery. So of course I'm going to love this type of plot where there's multiple villain going after FL. I don't think I ever watch any Thai lakorn that is this type of genre, it is pack with action, mystery, comedy and romance. Although for the romance, there is not a lot of romance going on here. But, you can feel the love in the air between Theeruth and Rosita. Every time they are together you can gradually see the feelings they develop for one another. The way Theeruth caresses for Rosita when he save her from danger, the way he get frustrated when Rosita is being harmed by the villains. Trust me you did not need any kiss/intimate scene to feel the love they have. I love a lakorn where both ML and FL chemistry are so strong and noticeable that you are able to naturally see their love develop throughout each episode.

As for the other plot goes, I like that they definitely did not drag the storyline. They get to the point and no unanswered questions. This lakorn is definitely more action related. I love that the first episode pretty much got right to the plot, not building up unnecessary scene that doesn't make sense. I actually like how episode two was quite heavy with all the villain going after Rosita. You think you know who's the main villian but you really don't because each one have a different motive.

Overall, I genuinely feel like all the characters acted their role good. The characters story was well developed, I love the 'hate' relationship the leads have at the start.

Give this lakorn a try, it is so underrated. Just because its rating was not high or over the top does not mean it was a total flop. Rating is quite bias in my opinion.

Wasted potential, wasted casts, wasted chemistry, and wasted energy.

The Deadly Affair have so much potential to be something great and beautiful but it fell short. The plot was something unique and different but it seem like they lost focus on what they were trying to do. There's was a lot of disappointment in this lakorn but I don't absolutely hate it. I just wish they would of written the story to be better. It also look like we were left missing some scene that didn't make it to many of the episodes. The logistics and details of this lakorn was poorly written, it almost as if they didn't even bother to line up the timeline.

I definitely agreed that the plot was building too much on Meena and that we didn't have enough of the main leads together or the development of them. In fact, I actually like that in the beginning they show the process of the lead grief and loss. However, it wasn't clear to me when Ohm fell in love with Jay. One moment it seem Ohm has finally moved on and probably starting to fall for Jay but doesn't want to admit to the feelings because of the death surrounding Pat. Then one moment he is hung up on Mink. Point is, to me Jay feel like an option to Ohm.

FYI: if you do not want spoiler stop reading!

It became quite obvious that Pat and Mink have something going on when they both lied about their whereabouts at that restaurant scene. We have Pat who appears to be a decent and nice guy but so many red flag with him when he lied about saving Jay. After their encounter they began dating and about to get marry when SPOILER Mink just happen to crash into Pat car killing him instantly. Ohm being the person he is took the fault in place of Mink because the thought of his pregnant girlfriend in jail was unbearable. Fast forward, Mink supposedly died and when Ohm came out of jail he was devastated to hear the news.

Jay was outraged that Ohm got an early release and did everything in her power to sabotage Ohm career and life. Eventually incident upon incident made Jay realize that Ohm has been saving her life from the start. So now instead of Jay revenge and the development of Jay and Ohm, it suddenly became all about the mysterious Meena (eye rolled).

I am quite disappointed that Meena is Mink. I had hope that Mink was truly dead and that Meena could of just been a friend or an old lover of Ohm. I absolutely hate that they went this route for Mink and Meena. I hate how they have to make Mink the antagonist, like why couldn't she and Ohm just had a pure and innocent love.

In the previous works that I have watched of Gina, The Deadly Affair will have to be Gina strongest work thus far. Gina character for once is not overshadowed by other characters, she actually stand out. Jay is one of those character where you either hate or love her. In the beginning Jay character may come off as an annoying brat who just want to be shower with love and attention. However, I see her character as someone who have experienced trauma and have a lot of healing to do. Jay witnessed her mother death, the result of a drunk driver. The first loss and grief. Doesn't matter how many years will past, grief is something that stay within people. Jay feel like the love from her father is nonexistent, she feel like her effort and work is never enough for her father. This is not a case of daddy issue. It is about trying to be good enough for the people who deem us not worthy yet. It's about receiving recognition/validation for our hard work and that we exist. Jay is far from being a rich and annoying brat. Don't get me wrong, I have watch countless lakorns where the FL character is just straight up annoying, immature or act out of jealousy. With that said, i do find one annoying thing about Jay character, is how she so up in her dad, Meena and Ohm business. That girl is finding way to hurt herself to the end.

I am glad to see James in a different perspective. I have seen him played too much comedic characters so Ohm was refreshing to watch. Ohm also experienced his own loss, his mother and girlfriend...child..... In some part I can sympathize with Ohm feelings and why he keep going after Meena but it got to a point where I just pity him now. I understand that for Ohm he never got any closure, the "death" of Mink and his unborn child was so sudden without any explanation. His love still linger for Mink and it only make matter worse when Meena show up reminding Ohm of Mink. Then of course once we know the truth about Mink and Meena this only make Ohm want to get her back. I do appreciate that Ohm had to wrap things up with Mink before actually pursuing Jay, because the feelings was more genuine that way. Ohm is not the brightest ML lol, so bare with it.

This lakorn was focus on loss/grief and how one can heal from that. How sometime when two people who have experience the same pain can find peace and happiness together. How can one begin to be better when they have yet to be heal from the things that are hurting them. Ohm will learn to love again once he finally let go of Mink. Jay have learned that she too can love again and that sometime you can love another person just as much.

Overall, I can't say I will rewatch, I liked it while it lasted but definitely not an enjoyable lakorn. James and Gina really do have amazing chemistry, hopefully when they do reunite in the future they will be bless with a great script because clearly TDA did not do their chemistry justice. This was a wasted potential of James and Gina.

Aaaamzing OST

I remembered watching this lakorn when it was Bee and Chakrit and it was definitely one of my favorite lakorn during that time, but there was also a lot of flaws in the plot. I personally love Jes and Esther in Leh Ratree so this reunion was a must for me.

I know a lot of people aren't too fond of Esther but her acting always come through. You're either a fan of her or not.

Jes on the other hand still have a lot to do and learn especially when it come to expressing emotions, anger, hurt, and pain. There was definitely some scene where I needed more from him and it just didn't delivered. Although I will say Jes was able to expressed sadness in his eye so that was good enough.

I kind of wish they prolonged the romance between Panin and Risa like it felt so short. IMO the time they spent together was not enough to even build up the angst of the painful memory and love between the two. I wish we got to see more of how the misunderstanding led Panin to sleep with Risa and how this led to Risa being hurt because Panin deceived her. The beginning of them all just felt too rush.

For some reason I felt like the love was lacking. I couldn't really feel the love between Risa and Panin (again this could be because I needed more romance of them in the beginning). Sometime I have to question are they even in love? Or did they ever even fell in love. Also maybe its just me but I feel like there was little to no scene of Panin and Risa love blooming again after six years.

I have to at least mention the dad...I absolutely, absolutely hate the dad from both version!! The dad from the old version make my blood boil that I really just want to strangled him. The dad from this version is tolerable but man I hated the dad character like he is one selfish ass human being.

If I remembered correctly in the old version ML found out about his son in such a dumb way, honestly FL was like "Pete is your son". So thank gah they didn't do that in this version. Panin facial expression when he put one and one together was amazing. Jes really nailed that expression for me. I just love that they created a situation where Panin found out he's the father.

Overall let me just say this, Thai lakorn has been a huge disappointment for me. It's either great castings, but the plot, script, and direction of the story just fall through. Although this lakorn didn't fulfilled me with the emotions, feelings and satisfying storyline, it is definitely a remake that I will find myself watching again instead of the original one. I am just glad that they wrapped this version up so much better than the original version, although I wish we got to see more of Panin and Risa after six years and more family time but it is a good ending.

Oh and before i forget, the OST, omg it was what sold me to watch this drama.

There's only 14 episodes not 15 like it says on MDL.

I only started this lakorn for Boy Pakorn but wow Gina really grew on me. She's the type of Nang'ek at first glance you don't care too much for or maybe you're not too fond of her, but her acting is what really make her stand out. Boy definitely brings out the best in Gina in term of compatibility, acting, and chemistry.

Boy as always is a phenomenal actor, it never feels like he is trying too hard to be in character. IMO, it comes naturally to Boy. Gina, is still new I will say there is definitely room for improvement. But wow, she cry so beautifully and I am so hurt for both their character.

I really enjoyed this lakorn, it is different than your usually slap kiss, romcom and revenge plot. This is a heavy actions lakorn so if you're not into that, this won't be your cup of tea. There is a lot of talking which make the lakorn feel like it is dragging.. However, there's is a lot of romance in here between Boy and Gina. I love that you can feel the instant connections, emotions, and feelings Boy and Gina have in episode one.

I have never watched the Turkish version so I cannot compare the two, all I know is that the Turkish version have a tragic ending. I am all for tragic ending, but that is just me. The plot move at a very fast pace and like I mention above a lot of talking but you never will find yourself bored for too long.

At time, Plaifoh (Gina) character annoyed the freak outta me, she's naive and too trusting of her brother. I hate that Plaifoh's always trying to protect her brother despite what he and her have done to Tawan (Boy) and his family. You can feel the guilt Plaifoh have each time Tawan save her from danger.

I cannot stand Bomb acting! I have never been to fond of him and seeing him play as the villain was just a no go for me. There was so many scenes that needed more emotions and facial expression from Bomb and he just did not pulled through, just flat and dry. I am so disappointed.

Oh and if you're wondering, happy ending.

I will try to not give too much spoiler

This lakorn is definitely different than your typical slap kiss and romcom. This lakorn is about a heartless warrior from two millenia years ago who was cursed by the person (Matira) he love at that time. Patchara spent the last two millenia years finding his heart and each time when Matira reborn he would always asked her to lift the curse she had placed on him.

In the present time, Patchara met an artist name Prao, who look exactly like Matira. Prao have a heart condition and is on the list to get a new heart but have never found a match. Patchara kidnapped Prao to his island where he hope she would lift the curse but to Patchara surprise, Prao cannot recalled her past life. Patchara have a hard time believing it because each lifetime Matira would always remember and that was her last wish is to always remember what Patchara had done to her and her family. Prao agreed to help Patchara lift the curse when she remembered and in return he will give his heart to her.

As Prak'ek and Nak'ek spend time together, Patchara start to believe that Prao is not the real Matira. Prao is a lively, kind, and thoughtful person who very much reminds him of Lata. Patchara for the first time is in love again. Eventually, Prao recalled her past life and indeed she's not the real Matira. Prao is actually Lata, and honestly although I don't know how I feel about that I guess it's more realistic that Patchara fell in love with someone else.

I am all for a tragic ending but only if Matira let go of her vengeance and came to realize that what Patchara did in the past wasn't because he didn't love her. IMO, it was selfish for Matira to pretty much hope Prak'ek will choose her over his duty and when he didn't she felt betrayed. I wish that Prao wasn't Lata and just someone who happens to be born to look like Matira. I feel like Patchara fell in love with Prao not because she look like Matira or reminds him of Lata but rather her personality and character that is full of life. In a way it gives him the will to want to live.

I love that Patchara character is smart, he's logically and reasonable. More importantly he doesn't let his emotions and personal feelings affect what he believes in. I love that each characters in this lakorn was well explained and they each play an important role. I absolutely love Prang and Peter pairing as well.

I really enjoyed this light hearted lakorn. The chemistry between Nycha and Tono is absolutely beautiful. Although they both haven't publicly announced they are dating, they pair so well in their character. I have watched other real life couple does lakorn but there's always something that is missing for me and for Tono and Nycha it's naturally there.

One thing I will say that I didn't really enjoyed is the editing. I feel like the editing was so off and the scene didn't really connect together. If its was only a few episode I would of been okay but that was throughout all the episodes. The OST by Tono was beautifully sang, the lyrics was sweet and it fit right with the lakorn plot.

Definitely give this lakorn a try, you might like it. It's not a complicated plot with a lot of misunderstanding or affairs, its actually a very sweet and romantic lakorn.

First off, if you're not into period lakorn or lifetime/reincarnation then maybe this lakorn isn't for you. This isn't your typical lakorn of slap kiss, hate, etc. But I absolutely love this lakorn.

I will say that James is my bias and when comparing his acting to his earlier lakorn, omg. His acting has really improve and I really saw his emotions and feelings in his characters.

Boom portrayed her characters so well in every lifetime, she blew me away.

Taew as always do a beautiful job at her role. I swear every scene of her crying, you can feel her raw emotions especially when Khun Uthai and Thao Rawi died.

There are parts where it felt like there was too much dragging, and I feel like there weren't enough intimate/romance scene between the two main leads. However, when there are scences it never disappoints you. Also, as always Taew and James have great chemistry and the songs in this lakorn just fit so right with the storyline.

I would say, you just have to go into this lakorn with an open mind and you might just like it.

I laugh throughout the movie!

I swear Bella never ceased to fail me with her incredible acting! Bella acting is super versatile and that's what make her such an amazing actress. I love, love, love the comedy, the plot and the humor in this movie. I always love a strong, head-minded lead, I love that Bella was able to bring out the comedic character of Riam.

All of the supporting casts were hilarious and the combination of everyone made this movie possible.

What make this movie even better is Weir making a cameo at the end. I've been waiting forever for Weir and Bella so even if it was only couples minutes of screentime, it was worth it!

Super light hearted, cheesy and romantic drama

Before anyone call me a "racist" or uneducated, I am fully aware that blackface is not acceptable. Yes, I am fully aware that back in the day people used to applied darker foundation on a lighter/fair skin person. Yes, we lived in the 21st century but what does that even mean? Everyone is suddenly more genuine? No. There are many sensitive topic that cannot be brought up without people calling it out and I understand. However IMO, if a topic is being portrayed in a respectful way and not discriminating against dark skin individual then I am not one to let it bother me.

The people that commented on here about how they darken her skin to make her look or portrayed "ugly" is not true. Never once did they ever mention how dark the FL is, or how ugly her skin tone is or how unlikable she is due to her skin tone.  Yes they could of omit the skin tone but I personally don't see it as "racist". If we're calling out everything in the book about dark skin toned then can we also put "tanning" on the list of unacceptable.

I really love that this lakorn is moving at such a fast pace. Thank goodness our Prak'ek is not dumb and is super smart. He start to suspect Faidam identity and eventually find out that she's Lormdao, his betrothed.

The plot break down is actually good, no dragging and definitely a lot of onscreen with the leads.

Quite honestly I like Faidam personality better than Lormdao. Faidam is what make the lakorn feels so light hearted, enjoyable and interesting. I find Lormdao character to be  unreasonable and annoying. I definitely find other Prak'ek more annoying than Param, he's doable IMO. Although he found out the truth about Faidam, i understand why he still bring Rika around because honestly Faidam have an agenda and Param wants to know why she had to disguised herself.

Overall, very sweet and romantic drama.

I really have been sleeping on Alek and Namtarn acting capabilities. And let me tell you, their chemistry was phenomenal. I didn't expect a lot as I don't care too much for all the leads in this lakorn.

However, I really appreciate how much characters development we can see throughout each episode. We have Jinny and Wat who are together not simply because they loved each other but because in a way they were abandoned. Two very lost soul who never received love from anyone. Then we have Tet and Kul who appears to be deeply in love but they tend to clash with each other, very independent individual who are career driven.

To see how Jinny and Wat (Tet) character evolved and falling in love with each other throughout the process feel very natural. The love she felt with Tet was for once real, the feelings and emotions. I was hoping there would be more relationship development between Kul and Wat in the beginning. I wish Wat character would of fall in love with Kul earlier on but the last few episode made up for it. I love how Kul loving personality had changed Wat to a better man.

I absolutely love this lakorn. It really made you realize that love is not about how long you been with someone. Love is a little bit of everything, compatibility, support, understanding and the list go on.

This lakorn is nothing special

First off, let's just talk about how this lakorn was such a huge let down. I was super excited to see a reunion or Esther and Son again as I did dropped their last lakorn together. Esther and Son usually have good lakorn but lately it just seem like them both have been getting bad script or rush production lakorn.

This lakorn was so short with nine episodes which can be a good thing to some people who prefer shorter lakorn. There was absolutely no character development between the two leads. Perhaps, if there was more episodes we could of seen more of the leads together, feel their love/relationship/chemistry. I was actually rooting for Lalisa and Jeffrey relationship to work out. But that didn't happened.

They had a good storyline, I loved the mystery of who stole the necklace and the story behind the necklace. I just wish there was more of it.

Overall, this a lakorn that I will probably forget about.

A very nice family drama

I don't watch family drama as much but wow I really like this one. It definitely have all of the aspects of what a family dynamic would look like with the mom pretty much being in charge of her sons lives.

Will i rewatch this drama again? Yes. I have watched it multiple time again. It's one of those drama where it really do make you reflect on life and think about karma. I definitely cried countless time.

I love the introduction of each characters, their own story and that there's really no 'main' character. Yes, the story does revolve around Asa, Reynu and Yoi more but because the story was quite well written their storyline didn't overshadowed the other characters. Every one acting was quite good. Asa character really won my heart, why? Well I feel like in every family there's always one who is like Asa. One who always tried their best to lightened up the mood, be the peacemaker, be the cheerful person although they may have their own problems. But what really make me love Asa is the fact that he finally chose his path and live his life for once the way he want. Reynu finally come to term about the use of black magic and decided to live with the outcome and see where life take her instead of relying on it. Pilai, although she was the mean person I guess, I love the fact that she repented her wrongdoing and found a caring and loving environment where she can really grow to be a better person.

I think that's the beauty of this drama, when we think of karma we think about how people will received the worst of it. But this drama also make you realize that when you acknowledge your sins or wrongdoing in life you can correct it.

I really love Bella characters in here, and although she wasn't pair up with James I was okay with it. Their individual character play such a bigger role that you sometime forget that they're not going to end up together. I genuinely think that Bella play this character so well that I possibly cannot think of someone else to be Reynu.

James is such a humble person, someone who is carefree and so when I saw Asa character, it almost feel like Asa character is meant to be written for James.

Also, wow, maybe it's just me but I love that they did minimal effort on Asa appearance. The flat hair which really gave his character that humble look. Reynu and her red lipstick.

Worth to watch

Where do I even start with this review. Lets start with the music, I love all three of the OST. It really describes the feelings and emotions of the FL and ML.

I love the storyline, though there are many lakorn that have similar plot, this one is definitely unique in it's own way. I love that Saran already had a lover of his and that the mom didn't initiate the promise until Saran was heart broken. Other lakorn would always start with ML and FL had to get married because of a promise/contract. Saran character isn't a selfish or self center one where he constantly hurt FL. I mean how could you just love someone you just met, let alone marry somone you never met or love. So I understand why Saran feelings was all over the place. He was at the same time still hurting from what Duang did and trying to move on with Rin. But one thing that make me love Saran character so much is that, even when he didn't know he like/love Rin yet, he never did anything to hurt Rin. For example, the scene when Saran and Duang almost "slept" together, his consciousness made him realize that he had a wife and it is wrong to make love with her.

The type of romance in here is the one where even when they are not kissing or have a bed scene, you can feel it when you look at their eyes and facial expression. I personally feel like Saran had already fallen in love with Rin the moment Rin asked him if she liked her foods.

I didn't feel like they were dragging the storyline at all. Every episode had an important role and it always get to the point.

Also, maybe unpopular opinion but I kind of wish Rin wasn't from a rich family. I kind of liked her character as it was before the whole rich family. Plus, her adopted family I guess, it was kind of annoying that they kept saying how they saw Rin as one of their own but yet the treated her so different.

I have rewatch this lakorn for many time now, it is worth the watch.

Hmmmm.

Sooo, to be honest I hated Kim character in here. Argh, the FL is the real definition on a snobby rich, spoil and ignorant person. But of course, Pim character improved after Ramet caught her trying to steal evidence. And then, Ramet kind of became a douche bag later on.

I didn't watch the original of this remake so I can't compare the two. As for chemistry goes, I don't know how I feel about it. There were some scene where it really feel like Ramet and Pim have a strong love aura but maybe that just my mind tricking me that there is chemistry.

Overall, I wish there was a better love/romance develop between Ramet and Pim. They definitely have their moments but I didn't feel like they really took the spotlight of the scene, of that make sense. I don't think they drag the plot at all, they get to the point.

I love the ending, only because for once it is not the ML who chase after FL to make up or to explain himself. Plus, I feel like throughout the episodes Ramet pretty much told Pim how he feel about her and Pim kind of brush it off. So for Pim to actually be the one to say sorry and go find Ramet, I thought it was quite romantic. Sad to say this is probably one of James lakorn that I couldn't bring myself to finished within a week. Again it was mostly due to FL attitude.

I honestly would love to see James Ji and Kimberly do another lakorn together. I genuinely think that James has improved so much on his acting that it would be interesting to see him act again with Kim.
