A wholesome story
Initially, I kept the series on hold as it started a bit slow. But surprisingly continued to be a good story. The story shows 2 young boys' family lives. Its an ordinary story, but acted and carried out in a beautiful way. The MLs acting is perfect. Each part of their life initially with the parents, then in the dorm with friends, the realization at the end is carved out fantastically. Though a bit unsatisfied with the ending, not always life brings a happy ending. And the story depicts there are many other forms of love other than romantic love. The respect they had for each other, caring love is fulfilling.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Lively and entertaining
I liked the 2nd movie better. Has more emotional moments and shows more closeness between Aki and Haru. The storyline are mostly similar to the 1st one.The liveliness and humor is so enjoyable in the movie. The progression towards the end was good.
Aki's sudden realization after hearing Rikka's announcement was something expected, its sad that he had to hide it, but understandstable. The turmoil both goes through when they realize they have to live apart makes one sit on the edge. The hesitation, turmoil in the scene where Aki finally mentions he likes Haru gives mixed feelings.
Aki's photos in the gallery shows how much Haru cares of him and holds him in a special place in the heart. Haru's realization when Aki says he likes him was cute. Not to mention the final confession, thank god for including that. The story shows a deep caring loving relationship between the two.
Oh! not to mention, both of them makes the food looks soooo delicious 😋

A simply story made so beautiful
This is one of the dramas where the story is so simple, yet simple is made beautiful. Yul and Yechan really balance out each other. With Yul being calm, composed and soft most of the time, Yechan being dynamic, innocent and pure. With just little expressions, they are able to convey the feelings.Yul may not seem outgoing and some might find boring, but the character needs it and he has done an amazing job expressing feelings and can really feel the blooming love here and can say he cares about Yechan, although he doesn't explicitly show in words. Yechan especially in the last 2 episodes was cuteness and innocence overloaded. OST just plays out perfectly.
The story folded out very smoothly, though could have been 1-2 episodes longer to show the love development longer. No unnecessary, annoying characters. Everything is just what was needed, no dragging.
The long green fields are an added plus, giving the exact village, farming feeling.
I really loved Yul's character and felt Do Won has done a great job here. Even with less words, I could feel his feelings, his body language and facial expressions are just perfect. And for Do Jin, never felt he was overacting. Loved each moment and his dialog delivery, especially the last episodes.
A definite rewatch for eternity.

Well! This is not everyon's cup of tea
I started with a dilemma whether to watch or not as I read many comments saying it not entirely BL. But I am glad I watched it. Yes, the plot is a bit dragging, but still beautiful. The actors have done really a great job in showing emotions, caring and sacrifice for each other. Ryo's turmoil in silence, trying to keep his feelings hidden for Hikaru. Chika's heartbreaking love towards Ryo and yet being a supportive friend, Minami's caring nature towards Chika, Hikaru, although a bit ignorant to start with, but finally seeing Ryo's feelings an properly having a talk simply shows how beautiful friendship can be. This drama shows love of Friendship can be sometimes be much more deeper than romantic love.
I like the way the drama has open and honest conversation between each other which clears misunderstanding, how the leads doesn't turn evil by being jealous when someone they like likes someone else, but simply support each other. The suspense was kept well to add cherry on the top. The actors are shown so mature, understanding, caring for their age.
Yes, it is not everyone's cup of tea if you watch for a proper BL/GL story. But still worth giving it a try.

Started out very well....
Well! I eagerly waited and watched all 40 episodes aired live on their youtube channel. After watching the first 10 episodes, it was a painful wait and the series felt it was going very well. But unfortunately after completing it, did not have the same feeling. I just did not feel connected with the series somehow, did not feel the chemistry between the actors. Felt love triangle was unnecessary and also it did not get shown properly with very less screen time. Felt the 3rd ML a bit pitiful, no closure for him even after working so hard. Acting is mediocre. The past of suicide somehow did not feel connected and not a great story (although sad). Or tbh, it was not portrayed well in my point.
Felt actors could have done a more good job at acting. Not really sure of re-watch. Maybe once or twice after a long time.

Well! No words to explain
To start with the story, its nothing out of the ordinary, but only lives of 2 teenagers going through the phase, self discovering, dealing with daily juggle, but the way they made it extraordinary is amazing. Karl moving to make a living and finding it hard is almost what everyone goes through in life. And how its dealt is eye-opener.This is one of the most realistic LGBTQ+ shows out there. How Vlad deals with being homosexual, openly and proudly, how Karl tries to accept himself when he realizes he might be one is emotional. Each scene is perfect. There is no overacting, no underacting, no very cheesy moments.
The actors have done a great job. Ian and Paolo fit together just fine in this drama. Judit's character is indeed an ally. I hope we have more people like that in the real world to support and be there for the LGBTQ+ community 💐
To talk about OST, the songs have been on my playlist on loop, they are beautiful.
I guess the ending was good with the plan for a second season. It's really a pity the 2nd season did not make through.
I don't know how many times I have re-watched it already❤️

Mixed emotions
I did not think I would love-hate the series so much. While the story, acting is on another level, the harsh truth, bullying in schools/universities are downright insane. I cannot imagine the life of the bullied, how badly it affects their future. The leads and supporting actors have done a wonderful job in depicting the harsh reality. Its hearbreaking to see the end 😢Although I wanted to drop it due to the violence, bullying, angst, the series kept me on edge every episode. Wish such actions reduce and students can have normal education life. I don't think I can rewatch as it seriously affects mental health

One of the first BLs
Life: Senjou no Bokura was one of the first beautiful series in the BL era. I still remember the pain sticking wait every week for new episodes.Shows realistic life of 2 teenagers, their hardship in accepting, break-up due to society values, finally getting back together because of true love.
The special scenes in the director's cut simply gives a perfect happy ending.
The OST is so beautiful that the song was on my playlist on loop for weeks.

Nice everyday life drama
I am one of those who was disappointed when it got cancelled after airing 4 episodes. But was very happy when gagaoolala picked it up and completed. All the 4 MLs have done a good job in expressing their emotions.
Story: Though a regular story, it has a nice watch value. The start as strangers, becoming friends, then heading to being lovers. The confusion when you find someone who looks like passed away brother, how its overcome. A great touch is showing the life of deaf.
Acting: QL did a great job in not giving up getting what he likes, who he loves although started with a not so good intention. QX- the confusion, the jealousy when he realized he actually like QL was cute and typical😂 TY- The sadness, desperation when he could not communicate and knew LMY only likes him as a brother. LMY- The big confusion, withholding around TY. The comedic part of Turtle as supporting actor was really nice. I would rewatch it again😍
