I am absolutely surprised and satisfied
To start it off i have read the webtoon and am currently reading it as its still ongoing. At first i was trying to figure out what part of the story this season is and i already knew what sadness i'd have to experience towards the end once i figured out what part of the timeline it was. They really did this webtoon justice. This season being the backstory of mc surprised me because i was left wondering how a whole season was dedicated to the backstory that we only caught glimpses of in the webtoon. This drama really made me feel so much empathy and sympathy for mc as the writers, directors, actors, everyone involved did a great job at portraying the story, personalities and emotions involved. Manhwas being put into drama formats have always been scary because some have flopped and others were done amazingly. This is one of those dramas that will satisfy the audience that already read the webtoon. I am pleasantly surprised how well done this is. I recommend this drama so so much to both new audience and webtoon readers. Im sure there will be more seasons after this after seeing the end of the drama where they gave us a glimpse of.. a character, to not spoil it for non-webtoon readers. Have a great time watching this as im sure you'll enjoy :)Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Everyone needs to stop talking crap about this!
This series is for sure worth a watch. Everyone here is complaining about the open ending. Calm your horses that ending is as open of an ending as Squid game. I didnt see anyone complaining about that? I dont get why some people here are upset with the second half (the last 3 episodes)? Yes the first 3 episodes was a great example of tension and release. And i also get why the last 3 episodes could've been confusing, but the more you watch the more you start getting on track again. The only reason it gets a little confusing is because we suddenly jump to the life of someone else. The story is split in two and the second half jumps a couple of years forward. I really think they did a good job on getting the story stable after jumping to a disconnected continuition. I got absolute thrills during every episode. I couldnt stop watching! Kept it going until 3 am. Now it has been a day and i've thought carefully about the series and the reviews. I think that the bad reviews are overall from people that got lost during the last 3 episodes. I guess its not a series for everyone because not everyone is good at putting together pieces in stories. Dont leave half ass reviews just because the story died off for you after not understanding what the flip is going on. The only thing slightly negative thing about this series was the special effects. It was slightly unrealistic on a few parts like (small spoiler alert) the disintegrator where the man was burning alive. It looked a little funny. And maybe some wounds were slightly off. Nothing significant. It probably wont bother the average watcher. I really recommend this show! Just please keep your attention on the show while watching it. I know enough people who scroll around on their phone and after its done they start complaining about how they didnt understand half the story. Oh two more things. The acting was honestly great. I was impressed on certain parts by the performance of the actors. A great cast :) A little more about the open ending. It will bother the people who hate open endings, but i personally dont mind. The open ending leaves a lot of options for season 2. I for sure cant wait for the second season!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Worth your time!!! Stop the fake concept of your typical "physical" love and appreciate real love.
Please hang onto this kdrama once you start it. I promise you, you will get hooked from episode 6 and onwards. This kdrama will make you feel complete and at ease. It makes you cry, but for good reasons. It makes you go through a rollercoaster of emotions. For anyone who plans to watch this for heavy romance: I dont recommend!! This kdrama is so much more than a romance. Its a life story. Its a harmony that will only be understood by people who arent ignorant. Writers managed to show their (the main leads) appreciation and admiration for eachother even when they were kept apart from eachother by society. As for the roles in this kdrama. I'm in love with everyone's performance. And I personally really love how things turned out. Please watch this with an open mind. You will love this nice change of the kdrama world. This kdrama shows you a type of love you wont see in any other drama. You will even smile eventually when you get to see the villains of the drama on screen. You will see psychological effects. You will see double crossing and betrayals. You will get to see a nice concept of reality. And you will also get to have insight into every character. It will give you a sense of understanding. The end of this drama gives you everything you would ever want. Dont get romance hungry while watching. Appreciate ACTUAL romance that this kdrama gives. It is so much more as long as you are willing to keep an open mind :) I cant believe im gonna say this, but this beats "The smile has left your eyes". That kdrama was a masterpiece to me. But comparing the endings. This kdrama did much more. And it will leave you with a better mindset (for the people who havent watched that kdrama lowkey spoiler alert: _That kdrama literally broke me and made me want to talk to people. This on the other hand gives you that complete feeling i mentioned before_) <3 I have put rewatch value at a 10 just like everything else for the people who like to rewatch movies and dramas. I personally dont like rewatching because the experience is never the same, but i know people who like to rewatch their favorite shows will enjoy rewatching this. It will keep you smiling again and again :) I hope people take out important lessons from this kdrama because it really gave me a lot more of an understanding mindset.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Even if you dont understand what the "scientific" side is about, this is still heart wrenching.
Now let me start by saying that i dont have much knowledge about the factory and govermental side of the story. They did an amazing job at explaining the crucial parts to the story so you dont get lost trying to find an answer. Comparing this to other (natural) disaster movies ive seen its quite realistic. I dont know much about how radiation and the factory worked since i am NOT a professional in the field of this stuff. So i cant go around criticizing any potential unrealism. Altho even if there are mistakes (of which i didnt notice any) it wont surprise me since ive seen a lot of (natural) disaster movies being criticized by professionals in the field of the disaster explaining the mistakes in the movie. So ill be talking bout how great of a MOVIE it is. Not how much it makes sence scientifically. To start off lets talk about the story. Perfect in every aspect. The chronological order was on point and the scenes were also portrayed very nicely so you wont get confused in the slightest. The acting was so surreal and heart wrenching. There was only ONE slight (potential) mistake i noticed. SPOILER ALERT (search for END OF SPOILER to continue reading)!!: At the end where he was waiting in the room full of explosives. At first he was struggeling to breathe because of the radiation but when the story got emotional he was suddenly able to breathe normally. Now i put potential before mistake because i dont know whether pain killers can cause your air ways to function properly after taking the pain killer. I have a feeling that pain killers dont affect your air ways so thats why i want to point this out. END OF SPOILER. Now the music. To put it simple; nothing wrong with it. The emotional music was perfect. Rewatch value has to be high up there. I wanna bet ill cry again after i watch this for the second time. Amazingly emotional movies just keep tugging at your heart strings like that. Now of course i recommend this movie. Its simply amazing. I dont often see (natural) disaster movies that have an extreme emotional side to it. They are often thrilling but this was both thrilling and emotional. At first it seems not too threatening but when you think about it it gets very scary real quick. This really doesnt have to be visually terrifying for it to scare you. Radiation is terrifying.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

There are spoiler warnings for when i give spoilers so dont be afraid to read the rest.
Before i start complaining i have to say that it was beautiful. All the gamemasters were a nice part of the story. The cinematography is amazinggg. Special effects really pulled through. I loved all the characters. Especially the complicated ones.Im gonna keep it short and simple and give a list of things that could´ve been different in my opinion:
-Plot armor was too much during the king of spades and ESPECIALLY on episode 7. I was convinced things wouldnt end well for a lot of them and started laughing out of trauma response since it was all so shocking.
-My girls Kuina and Ann deserved a longer scene during the games. Cheshiya, love him, but he got two whole games worth of screentime. Kuina and Ann were cut short which was dissapointing. I wouldve especially loved to see Kuina's game of queen of spades. Woulda been a sickass fighting scene
-*spoiler skip forward* I was relieved when my girl Ann suddenly woke up. Who knows how? Was she somehow still alive? Or did Kuina's will to bring her back to the real world save Ann? Either way im still upset that they lost all of those momories.
-Started getting funny when the game masters started giving long dialogues after the game was over. *skip to next point if u dont want to know how players die after u losing a game. minor'?' spoiler* The lasers rly waited on them to finish their story lmao. Some would take long to die and others short. The laser was also perfectly timed for the queen of clubs which was funny considering how she decided to go out cuz that couldve gone wrong if it wasnt for the timing of the laser.
-NIRAGI GOT ON MY NEEERVES simple as that altho a part of me still liked him. Would've liked him a lot more if it wasn't for the king of clubs. He scratched out his redemption arc real fast lmao.
-*huge spoiler not recommended to read* The one time i sobbed was at the end. Nobody remembered eachother. All they had left of eachother was a feeling of recognition and a connection which they didnt understand why. After all of that. The risks they took for eachother. The battles they fought together. After all of that we swap back to our real world. The plot twist starts making sense. And you realise no memories are left of the borderlands. That broke my heart. I couldnt stand the scene of Arisu and Usagi at the vending machine. Altho at the same time it doesn't feel right for the borderlands to be remembered. But i still like to imagine a world where they do remember eachother and get to be friends.

I am extremely annoyed. Read second paragraph if you dont want the movie spoiled.
(skip to next pargraph for short summary without spoilers) SUMMARY WITH SPOILERS: To summarise this movie: annoying. There are so many scenes where the thinking of the leads isnt logical. How are CRIMINALS so afraid of a single guy as if he's a vengeful spirit that they cant easily get rid of lmao. It almost feels like the director got a criminal heist storyline from someone layed out in front of him on a table and just decided to scribble horror elements all over with a crayon... There were plenty of moments where Han could have been killed, but for some reason these three buddies decided to keep running and running. I havent even finished the movie. I was so bothered that i decided to share my annoyance before finishing this movie. The scene right before the 2 hour mark where one of the friends died was my last straw. He did not have to die if it wasnt for the main lead being an idiot. In that parking lot scene he couldve shot Han in his head, but he decided to be a pussy.. i mean the acting was amazing, but that wont make up for the amount of times ive been bothered by the horrible storyline and the horrible decisions that were made. And the chase that broke out when one of the friends left also has me annoyed. Han keeps popping out a cigarette whenever he feels like it and he starts smoking out in the open as if hes inviting them to shoot at him. BUT THEY DONT. THE ONLY MOMENTS THEY DECIDE TO SHOOT IS WHEN THEY ARE GETTING SHOT AT. The thrill during the first half of the movie was insane, but now im just left with frustration which ruins the whole movie. It honestly gets cringe. Suspenseful music starts playing when the main lead decides to confront Han after his friend got killed. It took the death of a friend for him to come to his senses. At this point he might aswell lay next to his dead friend and wait to get shot. I cant believe a movie managed to pull so much hatred out of me. Its also hella annoying how Han manages to dodge every bullet, but is also able to hit shots unlike others. By the way im updating this as im watching the movie. Im proud to announce Han finally got shot. In his shoulder... Make it more fatal cmon now. Ok so i finished the movie. Han gets shot multiple times, falls into the sea but doesn't die so main lead decides to chase after Han. His friend that went back to his parents is also supposedly dead and the end of the movie is main lead leaving Hawaii to go back after Han.SHORTLY SUMMARISED WITHOUT SPOILERS: Plotholes, stupid decisions that make the movie unbearable, not enough backstory, horror elements thrown into a money heist movie (done in a horrible way), the bad guy is portrayed as way too mighty and the only good thing about this movie was the acting. Its crazy how a newbie director managed to get hold of this cast, but please someone take away the writing from him cuz multitasking is not for him. The great acting sadly doesnt make up for the bad story. And the end is an open ending if anyone cares about knowing that.
