Fantastic Live Adaptation!

I read the manga and loved it. When I heard there was going to be a live drama adaptation I was really worried how it would turn out. How could they make it like the manga, which is over the top with effects, and yet seem realistic?

I was seriously impressed. The CGI was really well done. Korosensei was incredible - if there were ever a big yellow tentacle monster in real life, this is exactly how he would move and look. Kudos to the special effects team.

The acting of all the characters was excellent. I read negative reviews about Nagisa going in, but I think the actor read the manga very carefully because he nailed it. He played his character right down to the mannerisms in the manga. The other cast was great too. Obviously in two hours, you can’t get all the characters’ stories, but it is a great cover of all the things that happened in multiple volumes.

I will rewatch it again. I would recommend to anyone who likes school dramas, wants a not-too-serious movie, or has read the manga. A fantastic way to spend 2 hours.
