The two main characters have a chemistry that pulls you in and the actors do an amazing job. Hyeon Bin is definitely an amazing actor and plays a rich, arrogant man who is very smart but has a troubled passed.
Although it really isn't that much different to most romance drama's. I think that the body swapping is done well and helps you get to understand both characters.
Definitely a must see for all Rom-com fans. Its just an added bonus that Hyeon Bin is the main actor :P

I actually waited until this series had finished airing being I watched it. It was kind of worth the wait. As far as the plot goes, its the usual low class girl tries her best to not get involved with a rich guy who has a rival who he used to be best friends with. It has a good start with filming in America (why does this country get all the attention... WHAT ABOUT THE UK?!?!?!?!?) But anyway, then they move back to Korean, and Cha Eun Sang gets to experience the wonder world of the high class student. Where even in school there is sensitive social standings. Make one wrong movie and you are the scum of the school.
It was great to see Lee Min Ho and Park Sin Hye acting together as I hadn't seem then acting for a while. So that was good news for me. Yet, my day was made when I realized that the most adorable guy Gang Min Hyeok was in this drama. He was so fun to watch in Heartstrings that I thought at last he was getting another drama! He had a strong supporting character and I was so happy to see another actor I like in this series. Also, why is there additional eye candy in this series? Gang Ha Neul has the most heart melting smile I've seen for a while and I was cheering for his character to get the girl he wanted. But I was happy when it didn't really work out as it meant he was free, and so am I :P
After a while, the series managed to just go a little stale and I was getting a little bored. I didn't feel like I could marathon all the episodes in one go because it was gripping enough. I felt like I lost the connection with the characters and the storyline was jumping about from place to place that I guess I kind of lost interest.
Even the ending where they tried to tie things up and show what it would be like in the future, it just kind of fell flat and it was unnecessary to do it. But I guess they tried.
Overall, its still okay to watch if you follow one or a few of the actor's. But it wasn't as good as it could have been.

The Bride of the Water God, loosely base of the manhwa of the same name. I remember reading there will be a live action of this manhwa I have so ever admired due to the amazing artwork, but I have been distracted and thus forgot about it.
I love watch Live actions of manga's or manhwa's I have read to compare the two. Although, this time it might be a bit of a challenge, because I have yet to finish reading the manhwa and it was a long time I go that I read it. Yet I still had high expectations because it is suched a loved Manhwa...
With this version I was intrigued to see how they would set it in modern Korea... For the drama, the setting worked out well, even the outfits that Habaek wore suited him well (well he is a God, he would look amazing in anything... including shirtless, which happens a lot in this drama). Putting the fan service aside, I felt the main actor was chosen well in my opinion. Although, I loved the God side more than the Human side. The clothes and hairstyles look sooooo sexy!
I remember in the manhwa that it was set more in the realm of the Gods, but in the drama, its the opposite, this was a little disappointing. I would have loved to have seen many different costumes, but I guess they were on a budget and would not have been able to afford it all *Internally cries*. It would have been nice to see more of an artistic style of clothing that fashionable. But that is my own personal opinion, especially as a huge fan of the original art work.
Through the drama, there was moments where I felt things really worked and things didn't. The romance between Sooya and Habaek... I am torn between it working and not working. I understand that Habaek is still plagued by his past love Nakbin, I felt that Habaek needed to show more conflicting emotions about what he should do but Habaek and Sooya's really, really, intense kiss (probably the longest kissing scene I have seen in Kdrama) was what I was waiting for, yet, was it really needed to be that long? was that all there would be?
I loved the drama and there was so much to follow, but maybe it was a little too hectic at times. They did introduce the other characters well, and although, it might have been only a slight touch of their stories and connection, it felt like it worked. Any more and it would have been confusing for those watching or it would have been longer than only 16 episodes, which I would not have minded.
This is probably one of the first drama's where I didn't hate the supporting cast, they were really well chosen, I am not just saying that I am an f(x) fan, but Krystal played Mu-ra really well. I am sure she loved wearing all the dresses too. Also Gong Myung played his character really and also added to the fan service moments in many episodes. It was definitely a great cast.
Overall, if you bare in mind, that live action dramas mostly don't stick to the manhwa/manga's, then its still great to watch. I really enjoyed watching it but now I want to re-read the manhwa to remind myself of why the love story between a God and Human interested me so much at first. Maybe its because its a fairy-tale, one that will never exist in real life, but the fleeting dream is one that I can still admire as only a dream. Well we want to escape from reality at some point in time, why not image a totally attractive God will sweep you off your feet?!

I admit, I started to watch this after seeing people constantly posting pictures on Tumblr. I know its a weird reason, but I was interested in what it would be like.
At first, I was really annoyed by Cheon Song Yi. Her English was a little annoying for me. But I guess it was the strong American accent that annoyed me more than anything. I did like how Jeon Ji Hyeon tried though. I think it was the character's ego that annoyed me, when she thought she was everything.
Yet when I saw Do Min Joo(Kim Soo Hyun) I was glad he was a quiet, introverted in a way. It seemed to suit the qualities of an Alien. The TowelAlthough, I am still unsure as to why a towel is warn in the shower, I am sure some clever photography would have been best to make the view think he was naked... was the towel really necessary? I guess it was really a PG drama... but it was shown at 22:00... no young child should be up at this time.... Should have used clever shooting!
It was great to see Do Min Jo slowly open up and actually connect with human's. Even if it was to an Actress who likes the lime-light. But she soon because a softy, and of course, a clingy women who tries to act strong but isn't inside.
The chemistry between the two leads was cute and it was nice to see them show more emotions as you watch each episode. Though, the supporting characters were too much most of the time. This drama had a lot of people who were clinging to their crushes and to be honest..... THEY SEEMED LIKE STALKERS!!! it was a little scary at times. If I ever become like that, I want someone to shoot me!
Overall, I really enjoyed watching it and was sympathizing with Do Min Jo's emotional realization of what love really is. It was great to see him portray those heart squeezing scenes (when yo watch the clips at the end of each episode, you will understand).
I think the cast was picked well as all were able to show different emotions. Although, I found the side story of the Lee brother's to be a little stale and wanted to skip past to go back to the lovers. But that is my personal opinion.
If you love watching romantic drama's, then this should definitely be on your list to watch. Its not the normal where the female is this cutesy, dumb, and naive character. Yet, she can really get annoying at times. I think it is a little appealing to watch in some aspects. I wasn't disappointed at the end of each episode. Instead, I was kept at the edge of my seat, waiting for the next episode to see what happens. Cliff hangers were good and the little bonus clips at the end of each episode added to the story and to the characters.
Watch it when you get the chance!!!

Now I have to admit. I have never been annoyed with a love-interest character until Kim Shin. There was really something missing, and I personally, couldn't figure out what Na Mi Rea saw in him. There wasn't any spark or chemistry between them. Yet for someone reason she really liked him. I could just be totally missing something. But it just wasn't there for me.
I was really hoping it was start and get to the juicy love triangle. But it was boring and didn't really get going. I felt bad for Yun Eun Hye and Jung Yong Hwa as they tried their best and I was really cheering for this pair to work.
The supporting cast was good and it could have gone into something a little more. But instead, they focused on Na Mi Rae young and old instead.
Overall, the idea of having someone come back in time was a good idea, but I think it wasn't handled as well as it could have been. I guess it was more like a mother going back to make sure her daughter didn't make the same mistake again.
It was good in some scene's but it was boring and I felt like I couldn't sympathize with the main female lead as she tries to sort out her feelings. There wasn't something for me to connect to in this drama, and that's probably why I felt it was lacking something. Though, it was good to see Jung Yong Hwa in another drama after watching Heartstrings. I was looking forward to hearing him in the soundtrack, but it was in vein.
Its totally up to you if you decide to watch this drama. As this is all just my opinion and feelings.

As someone who loves music and it has always been a passion, along with dancing. This is a drama I can honestly relate to and sympathize with the characters.
The main actors played their parts well. Although at times it was a little awkward and you really just want the two main characters to kiss or do something.
This is definitely one I will be re-watching whenever I feel a little down and hope that I will find someone whom I can rely on and support me.
