Why I Regret Watching Double Savage
My initial expectations for this show were unfortunately met with disappointment, leading me to approach it with caution due to a wave of negative reviews. The story is predictable, revolving around brothers torn apart by a girl who ultimately proves unworthy. Rung's character, initially portrayed with wholesomeness in the initial episodes, takes an abrupt and poorly executed dark turn. Credit is due to the actress portraying Rung, whose compelling performance successfully made me hate the character—a noteworthy feat. While the brothers' acting is serviceable, it failed to engage me, potentially due to my unfamiliarity with their previous work or a lack of resonance with their style. Korn's character, burdened by undeserved hardships from an abusive father, evokes the most sympathy from me. Conversely, I struggle to find merit in his brother Win.
The show proved to be unbearable for me, prompting my decision to discontinue it after the fourth episode due to the subpar quality of the poorly constructed plot. It almost seemed as if the writer harbored a strong aversion to Rung's character.
For those seeking a healthy portrayal of relationships, I strongly advise against diving into this show. It delves into toxic dynamics that are difficult to endure, and the resulting irritation can escalate significantly.

A Reflection on Snow Eagle Lord
In Chinese dramas, Xu Kai has undeniably carved a reputation for himself, capturing hearts with his compelling performances. My admiration for his acting prowess blossomed after witnessing the chemistry he shared with Bai Lu in 'The Legends.' Xu Kai's ability to convey emotions with depth and authenticity truly left an indelible mark on me.However, this newfound admiration led me to venture into 'Snow Eagle Lord' with heightened expectations. To my surprise, the series didn't quite resonate with me as I had anticipated. Perhaps it was the thematic nuances or the narrative elements that failed to strike a chord with my personal preferences. Despite this initial disconnect, I recognize that the beauty of storytelling lies in its subjective nature.
There's a lingering thought that someday, I might revisit 'Snow Eagle Lord.' Sometimes, a second viewing allows for a fresh perspective and a deeper appreciation for the nuances that may have eluded me initially. It's not uncommon for the intricacies of a storyline to unfold more gracefully upon revisiting.
Although 'Snow Eagle Lord' may not have immediately resonated with me, it doesn't diminish my admiration for Xu Kai's talent. His ability to breathe life into characters is commendable, and I eagerly look forward to witnessing more of his diverse roles and performances in the future. Xu Kai's journey as an actor is a captivating one, and I'm curious to see the artistic paths he chooses to explore, knowing that each role holds the promise of new surprises and dimensions to his craft.

Visually Stunning, Romantically Misaligned!
This has some of the best cinematography I've seen, and the plot is good too. The actors are great, and the first three episodes were really captivating. However, I dropped it because the romance didn’t click for me. I see the male lead as more of a brother figure, and the female lead looks very young and adorable, which makes it hard for me to accept their relationship.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Promising Start, Disappointing Finish
I was really looking forward to watching this when the trailer dropped on Netflix. It looked promising, but I ended up disappointed after watching just four episodes. The first two episodes were actually good, but as the story progressed, it became quite draggy and boring. I don't understand why they had to drag out the plot with only seven episodes in total. The acting wasn't great either. The opening song reminded me of Pyramid Game, but that's about the only positive thing I can sayEsta resenha foi útil para você?
Good Cast, Impressive Effects, but Didn't Keep Me Hooked
I was really looking forward to this series and watched up to episode 14, but I had to stop. The actors and cinematography are great, but the story just lost me halfway through—it started feeling a bit boring. Some scenes were good, but others didn't click. I’m not a huge fan of the male lead in this role either, even though I've liked his other work. Maybe I’ll come back to it later if something changes my mind.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Too Much Hype!
I have to say, this was one of the most anticipated series featuring Zhao Lusi after seeing her in Who Rules the World. Unfortunately, I consider this to be Zhao Lusi's worst series. The special effects are lacking, and while the story has potential, even her acting couldn’t save it. I dropped it after just two episodes—I’ve had enoughEsta resenha foi útil para você?
