I'm torn with this drama: I loved more than half of it, but once it hit a certain point (around epi. 17) it never really recovered IMO. I love a good K-villain, but Kang Sun was a bit too cruel in the end. What saved the entire show for me was Ji Chang Wook's great acting & Tae Yang's optimism & work ethic, as well as the relationship between the Fresh Men. I didn't mind Jin Shim as much until she decided to stick by Kang Sun's side once the truth came out. I lost all respect for her after that. I loved In Beom; I'm glad he didn't accept KS's crap anymore. Overall, the show was nice but all over the place in the end. I enjoyed the tender/goofy moments but found some of the melodrama to be a bit much. Honestly, if you want to watch a better drama with a similar plot line I HIGHLY recommend the stellar "Can You Hear My Heart"!

I'm not going to sugarcoat: I was a HUGE fan of DH1, so I went into this with high hopes. The first 6 episodes were a bit of a chore to get through at times (mostly due to spotty writing & varying acting levels) BUT once I got to episode 7 the show majorly improved until the end! Once DH2 dropped the attempts at sitcom humor & started focusing on establishing characters, it was like watching two different shows. I began to care for each individual and found myself laughing, frustrated, & tearing up more often than not [it's not a good drama if I don't yell at my screen or cry AT LEAST once]. I've read a lot of reviews where people understandably but unfairly compared it to DH1 (I'm guilty of doing the same) or gave up on the show too soon. I suggest you give DH2 a fair shot. In the end I still prefer DH1, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't watch DH2 again!

Went into this one with no expectations; ended it thoroughly disappointed.

Let me start by saying this drama is NOT for everyone. If you can stand adult humor that involves random erections, disappearing cellphones (Sergei~), and extensive sex toy product placement then give this a go.

The first 5 episodes were immensely enjoyable, seamlessly switching between comedic hi-jinks and moments of heart, but then the story hit a wall in episode 6 and, in my opinion, never recovered. That's not to say it didn't have funny moments after that; the story just severely lacked focus from episode 6 to the end.

The characters were fun (for the most part - some more than others) and their original mission seemed like it was going to deliver more than it did. The opening and ending songs were PERFECT, especially Ishizaki Huwie's Night Flight [ending song].

All in all, the show started with major promise that it, unfortunately, didn't deliver on. Oh well.

Let me start by saying this: Soo Ae & Kim Rae Won are two of the most talented actors I've ever had the luck of watching on television or film - from any country! What they were able to bring to the characters of Seo Yeon & Ji Hyung [the passion, the anger, the devotion] was breathtaking. You want an example of perfect chemistry? Watch the two of them. The story sheds light on the struggles of both people with Alzheimer's & the ones who love & support them. I'm not going to lie: I cried pretty much every episode; six times during the finale alone! The performances were so stellar & human. Not once did anyone go over the top. And I can't finish without mentioning Park Yoohwan! If we could all be so lucky to have a sibling as dedicated & loving as him. Such a fantastic actor! ***I gave the show a 10 in re-watch value, but I'm actually on the fence about re-watching it again. It was so unbelievably beautiful, yet emotionally taxing that I think I'd need to pace myself if I ever did decide to watch it again.

Rooftop Prince had the perfect mix of comedy, romance, violence(!), & heart. There was never a slump in the story (which is a true rarity for K-dramas, especially ones that air past 16 episodes) & it had me guessing up until the last episode (before it blew my mind & had me crying & cheering during the finale). I recommend this wholeheartedly to everyone! BEFORE I FORGET: Lee Tae Sung & Jung Yoo Mi portrayed quite possibly two of the best villains I've ever seen! I've never loathed & loved characters simultaneously like I did with them. True sign of a drama's effective writing & excellent acting. Also Choi Woo Shik, Jung Suk Won, & Lee Min Ho: nothing but love for the 3 of them forever!!! I can't wait to re-watch this one again ASAP

"Padam Padam" is hands down one of the greatest K-Drama I've ever watched, and sets the bar ridiculously high for dramas that follow it! The acting was sublime; every actor was perfectly cast for their role (even Tenngie). Jung Woo Sung's take on a wounded man was both refreshing & poignant. He has the ability to pull off a million and one emotions without ever going over the top, and his amazingly expressive face & eyes speak volumes even when he's silent. The story was so deeply engrossing, beautifully written, and wonderfully paced. This show gave me everything I needed; perfectly mixing fantasy, violence, heartbreak, comedy, & romance to create one single masterpiece. I don't throw that word around lightly: "Padam Padam" is quite truly a modern day masterpiece. I recommend this show to any & everyone!

I started watching this show simply based on all the hype and I only completed it b/c of Park Min Woo & Lee Ki Woo. I will admit FBRS had its sweet/cute/funny moments but overall I was underwhelmed. I was more invested in the secret relationship between Dong Joo & Coach and the Ba Wool/Hyun Woo 'couple' then I ever was in Chi Soo & Eun Bi. Chi Soo was a frustrating character to root for; I found him overly aggressive & obsessive, as well as emotionally stunted (which made sense since he was still a teenager). Simply blaming his father for his behavior is a cop-out IMO. I did finally soften on CS the last 2 episodes but that doesn't make up for the other 14 where I personally didn't care for him. The show wasn’t horrible but it never matched the hype in my eyes. ***This show grew on me more & more since originally finishing & reviewing it. I still think the story & character development was all over the place, but I found myself thinking back on random moments & smiling or laughing months later. Overall, there's more to like about this show then there is to hate.

The first 9 episodes had the makings of a monster hit but something went sour the last 11. I understand that Young Gul was ultimately done in by his own greed & need for revenge, but what's the excuse for how weak Ga Young became? I ended up hating her character in the end (and unless she's surrounded by talented actors that I like, I'll never watch another drama with Se Kyung in it. Honestly one of the worst actresses I've seen in a K-drama or film). I ended up pitying Jae Hyuk but never really understood his love for Ga Young. There were so many plot holes & loose ends that I just don't have the energy to care about after forcing myself to watch the last 10 episodes. Fantastic actors like Ah In & Je Hoon were wasted on this show.

I'm torn with this film.

Ha Jung Woo has an undeniable charm and really felt like the only one moving the film forward. The plot - what little there is - felt too thin for a 2 hour film.

Simply, the two characters just move from set piece to set piece; have a small conversation/interaction with a new random character and then move on with a little more money than before. But there was never any explanation given for why Hee-su needed the cash suddenly, so there was never any urgency.

There's hints of a past relationship between Hee-su and Byung-woon, but they never go into detail. If the point of the film is she's forced to deal with her ex ('enemy') for a day at least give us a clear reason why we, the audience, should perceive him as her enemy!

Overall, the film was pointless, but interesting enough (for me, at least) to complete. It was really only worth it for HJW's performance, which was natural and charming. I just wish there was a better script to match his talent.

One amazing journey!

The description for this drama doesn't really do it justice.

What sounds like a simple premise is actually an in-depth look at child abuse/childhood trauma and how holding onto that pain shapes our identities as adults.

The casting was immaculate. Seo Ye Ji and Oh Jung Se's constantly fluctuating relationship had me laughing one second and awwing the next. Kim Soo Hyun's Gang Tae was a perfect balance, not only as their reluctant guardian and protector but as the viewer's way into the story. When he was stoic and driven, we felt it; when he was angry, we felt it; when he was opening up emotionally, we felt it.

I guess some people could see the more over the top characters or storylines as negatives, but I personally loved them and thought every twist and turn fit well into the modern-day dark fairytale the show's universe was set in.

This isn't the first drama to touch on darker themes, but I felt like "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" hit it out of the park in terms of execution in ways other shows could only dream of. This is a drama I will never forget, with characters I fell in love with, played by actors who inhabited their roles 100%. You won't regret watching this show!

Having never read the manga or watched the anime (I plan to watch it in the very near future!) I went into this show completely unaware of the story & characters, and I have to say: I loved every second of it!

I thought the cast had great chemistry & were totally believable. I can't compare them to the manga & anime portrayals but I enjoyed them all individually. I fell in love with Yusuke Yamamoto as Tamaki, and didn't find his OTTness to be bad in the least! I loved the balance between his wackiness and his moments of sincerity.

This show renewed my interest in 'girls dressed as boys' dramas by not directly focusing on the fact that Haruhi dressed as a boy the entire series - by that I mean it was central to the set up but not the main plot point. Such a welcomed change.

I can't wait to watch the film!
