It is very much a live action interpretation of a graphic novel. Sometimes I just don't understand the humor b/c it gets a little stupid. The story is cute & as a short person I can understand the complex that the characters have. I swear some days I feel like I live in the land of giants. Height can be a big issue when ur looking for the right person, but u should never give up on love. I thought that the writers & characters did a good job conveying these feelings. I have a feeling that a lot that is in the graphic novel (which I have not read) was left out due to the fact that u can only put so much into a movie time frame. I enjoyed watching this even w/ the extra commentary. I will say that this is prolly not every1's cup of tea, but I thought they did well!
