Wonderful Tears

What a beautiful timeless story! The acting was subtle and although you know it’s not a HEA ending ,it’s as satisfying as you can expect.

The production value, cinematography and soundtrack were excellent. The tears felt “honest” vs. manipulated like some movies/stories can wrench them out needlessly.

Overall, this 2012 movie holds up…obviously made for theatrical release.


P.S. I have watched other movies based solely on appreciating a given actor and felt I “lost” 2 hours of my life I won’t get back. NOT THIS ONE!

Interesting, But Screams for a Season 2

I would rate this higher overall if Netflix had also committed to an additional season to complete this plot line.

Characters are good to go for possibly multiple seasons. Production & action sequences are engaging. But as it stands, viewers are left hanging without closure. So story (for feeling incomplete) and rewatch value are low.

I want to revisit House of Ninjas if (when?) the second season is dropped.
