In both dramas, a young master falls in love with the bodyguard/butler assigned to him by his family. The protector (bodyguard) is a human in the Thai series but the protector (butler) in the Taiwanese series is a robot.

They have the same characters, office setting and storyline, but different styles of acting and humor, Japanese vs Thai.

- both have main leads who are assumed to be weak
- both have the main leads win at the end.

"Weak hero class 1" is more dark and intense. It involves bromance and out-of-school crime, suspense and mystery.
