It’s a "no" from me
I rarely quit a Thai BL - in fact it has only happened once before - but I’m doing it to HOUSE OF STARS, a series with so much potential. As someone born and raised in and around the television and film industry of Hollywood, California, I recognize nothing here and it cannot just be cultural differences. I don’t even understand the concept of having a group of actors and would-be actors living together in a villa with a weird Mrs. Danvers-type watching over them. That’s supposed to teach them acting? If that’s the case newcomers should decidedly reconsider moving in. There are of course other Boys Love series with as muffled writing and amateurish acting as this one but at least the attractiveness of the cast makes up for that. Sadly that’s not even the case here. Oh yes, New Nanthipat is one of the stars of the title and he’s not only a good actor but also one of the best-looking but New barely gets anything to do until episode six, and by then the tiresome cast has made your life rather not worth living. I returned to the show after a couple of months but only got to episode 7 this time where a long, tedious piece of dialogue between two cast members drifted me off to sleep and I packed it in. For good.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
