I’m not going to lie — MIR2 is often infuriating to watch. Fuse is SO INFURIATING, watching him pull a “let’s just be friends” with Tee to “date” (if you can call it that) Jean. But it’s a genuine journey that the characters go on, and in the end, it’s actually worth sitting through. Yes, I yelled repeatedly at Fuse. I even yelled at Tee. But it was very much like Theory of Love in that way.
Book and Frame’s story is so emotional. Watching Frame support Book throughout his controversy was so powerful.
I don’t know why people don’t like the acting in this series — I think they’re all quite good and I exceptionally disagree with the sentiment that Boom (Tee) isn’t a good actor. He’s excellent at expressing his emotions in his eyes.
I actually liked this sequel MORE than the original just because it really felt like a powerful emotional story and a real journey for the characters. It was frustrating but ultimately rewarding.
