For me this show IS all about sex BUT that means every aspect. All the different forms of sex, sex work, sexual relationships with others, peoples kinks. Seeing how people treat sex and what people do to make money to survive. I am very interested in seeing who explores what and what makes each of our main characters dick twitch. If you're not interested in any of those things than I can see why you wouldn't enjoy it and didn't look deeper than the sex scenes. So many watchers remind me of someone who watched a how to make a porno documentary, while they hate porn.

People's sexual interests are very fascinating, Zouey has me super curious about what exactly gets him off and also WHY he is that way.

This isn't your normal BL show and if you're looking for hot sex scenes instead of maybe messy realistic sex scenes, this probably won't be for you. The first episode may have lacked plot but it DID seem like a good character study and it did begin a plot that I think is going to be very interesting.

I am very excited to see them dive in deep to find out where their missing friend is, but even just watching them and what drives them, is good enough already. First is also my favorite little horny shit character.

Side note: I do agree the acting is a bit cringe, but I think they're doing pretty well for actors portraying something that isn't exactly the most comfortable thing to film in front of a bunch of people.
