Crying a river (worth it tho)
Guys, normally I really do not like Japanese dramas, because they tend to be really overdramatic, unnatural (especially the acting GOSH) and the plot is really exotic.
BUT THIS DRAMA.
It really hit me. The development of each character was so phenomenal and heartbreaking. I loved how the whole family grew closer, had such a strong bond, and tried to remain positive the entire time. But you also saw how human and in pain the family was sometimes because they saw how Aya physically changed from time to time. That dude who was in love with the FL (ik he's not real but still), he went from emo to loving and caring boyfriend, who stayed by her no matter what.
And then Aya...
Gosh, that girl went through so much. It was even more painful since you know that some scenes really happened. She went from light, sporty, active girl to mature, cheering, and positive women. Her development was tough, but in the end, I could feel that she was kinda at peace with her disease and herself. She also cherished her family very much.
What is also mentionable, every ending of an episode. As if I don't cry enough throughout the episode, the end always gave me the last kick. It just makes me so sad and emotional to see real Aya's notes and pictures. Dudes if you don't cry and cherish life more in the end, no words.
Acting:
Phenomenal. It was so freaking good. Ok I have to admit the FL father was sometimes a bit too hyper for my taste, but I lived in Japan so I kinda understand where it's coming from. The rest of the cast just got me every single time, I really believed every single situation they went through and really felt when they were happy or sad.
Music:
Fits perfectly to every scene. It is so beautiful that I still listen to it when I think of that drama. Just makes the drama even sadder than it already is sometimes.
Guys. Please watch that drama. It is not fake or anything. It is just so raw and pure. It is for everyone who wants to have good cry and lost orientation in life or so.
