Equal mix of Romance, Angst, and Happiness.

Both Zhou Ye and Chen Feiyu showed their acting skill in the film. You could really feel the emotion and heartbreak in their scenes. They also look beautiful with each other, good chemistry!

It’s not an original story by any means and has been done before but it’s a classic, never gets old and hits the mark every time. It’s an equal mix of angst and joy, I cried both sad and happy tears throughout

The ending is satisfying and fitting and gives the mains a well deserved happy ending <3

Tackles real social issues

The relationship between the two mains is very well written and you almost forget about the age gap as it just doesn’t feel relevant in the end to these two people loving each other.

But that doesn’t take away from the social issues that are addressed in this drama, the belief in which women lose value if not married or if they do not have children.

It’s as much a romance as it is a tale of a woman finding and accepting her own self value in the world. Highly recommend and highly enjoyed.
