9.5: Masterpieces

This is as close to perfection as it gets. The storytelling, animation, character development, and emotional impact all hit flawlessly. It’s rare for something to earn this score, but when it does, it leaves me awestruck.

8.5 – 9.0: Excellent

I was strongly impressed. The story and characters hit hard, and while there may have been minor flaws, they didn’t detract much from my overall experience.

7.5 – 8.0: Very Good

I really enjoyed this. It was well-executed, but there were noticeable issues—maybe pacing, a lack of depth, or a few questionable choices—but nothing that ruined it for me.

6.5 – 7.0: Above Average

I liked it for the most part. It’s enjoyable, but nothing about it truly stood out. There were critical aspects that left me wanting more or felt underwhelming.

5.5 – 6.0: Average

It was fine, but forgettable. It might’ve been decent for passing the time, but it lacked originality or polish and didn’t leave a lasting impression.

This one had noticeable problems, whether it was pacing, story coherence, or animation quality. It wasn’t outright bad, but I struggled to stay invested.

- I never give a perfect 10. Perfection doesn’t exist for me, but a 9.5 is as close as it gets. If something earns that, it’s a masterpiece in my eyes.
