korea version of severance

i started this drama thinking it was a mafia, corporate drama but it turned out beyond my expectations. this is exactly korean “severance” in this drama, an analysis of money and humanity working like slaves is made using dark comedy elements. i loved it from the first episode. and i hope the other parts are just as good.

i'm angry and crying

i am so angry at everything and everyone. deokim deserved a better life is it normal to feel like a piece of my soul has been ripped out?

i cried whole episode. idk why, it hits me hard. besides my favorite characters saying goodbye to drama, i even cried when my least favorite characters said goodbye to drama. i think this episode was the turning point of this drama

the murderer can be anyone, be careful!

throughout the whole episode, i kept pondering who the secret number calling taekrok was. btw, the new young detective assigned from seoul looks very suspicious. seems like he's a bit of a hypocrite and act like he's lying. also, when corruption cases got involved, it started to get even more complicated. and of course the last scene... i held my breath. i'm very curious about the next episodes.

it was a good start

with the first episode, i can say that the acting is REALLY good and the cinematography is also good. but the thing that definitely stands out in this drama is the acting and the story. i hope the series maintains this standard in the other 7 episodes and gives us a good story.

the best ep so far

i experienced so many emotions together in this episode... sadness, joy, happiness... besides, it was a very realistic episode, especially the public protest against the events taking place in the police department. all in all it was a very good episode. i hope all future episodes will be like this episode or better.

it was a good start but not enough

i really started off with a hype against the first episode of through the darkness. although it is a good start for the crime and detective series, still could not feel the 90's theme. the acting is good and on point. i'm not sure if the events are from the facts, somewhere i read it was written that they were taken from the facts. since it is the first episode, i can't say much, but as i said, i couldn't get the feeling that it took place in the 90s.
