Up to Episode 12 and it could have been so much better!

I had high hopes for this drama because of the male actors initially, but so far, all the actors have done a good job. The story and direction of the drama is lacking.

Unfortunately, it is your typical non-communication/mis-communication tropes and for 20 minute episodes, the flashbacks are just too long and unnecessary. It is a 15 x 20 minute episode series so why do we need reminding of what happened 60 mins ago?

This drama could have been better, it might be redeemed in the last 3 episodes. If it is I'll be back to revise my review.
Flashbacks aside, it is still mildly enjoyable and short enough to binge watch.

I think the drama should have been fleshed out a bit with back stories and better developed side stories.

Wasted my time!

I watched all 36 episodes, waiting for a redeeming feature but did not get any, unfortunately!!!

The story just did not add up. The ML and FL's love story, as well as the others, just frustrated me to no end! It was so unrealistic! To the point of not being enjoyable.
I feel like I wasted my time watching this because I got no joy out of it - no entertainment value, but, I find it difficult to drop dramas once I start.

The actors did a decent job, which is probably why I have such strong feelings towards this story/drama but no matter how I slice or dice it, it didn't work for me.

Different strokes for different people so you might like it but I didn't.
It took 36 episodes and possibly 12 - 15 years to hear 'I love you' - go figure!

Needless to say I will not be rewatching any part of it and won't recommend it - I could have watched two decent 16 episode dramas in the place of this.

The Blood Hounds of Yongtan High

Omo! Omo! Omo!
Does this really happen in South Korean High Schools? How can so much violence exist in High School?
Mind you, I'm writing this from the UK so I'm pretty shocked. Not sure if this much violence happens here too.

BUT, I enjoyed this drama and literally, binged watched it over two days. I was hooked from the get-go because I liked the actors.

The story as I've said was a bit too far-fetched for me.

I love that dramas are kept shorter than 16 episodes, but it would have been good to find out how self-righteous Sooheon handled the fact that he had inadvertently killed someone instead of having everyone hail him as a hero and gloss over it and, how Jaejoon/Jaebum's split personality affected his case. There were other parts that could have been better and added to the drama, but I guess it suffered because of its length.

I would recommend it if you can stomach the violence. I came here after Weak Hero Class 1, and I'm not sure how much more teenage violence I can take.
