A must see poignant drama.
I put off watching this drama as the synopsis didn't appeal to me, however after seeing some very positive reviews I decided to watch it. It was a rollercoaster ride for me as it almost mirrored my life (the female lead role) in so very many ways and I can only praise the writers and the actors for their skills. It has introduced me to some new actors who I will now follow to watch their next dramas. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys K romances. It's worth the time!Unfortunately I've said all I can without spoiling the drama for future viewers but it won't let me post this till I've reached 500 characters!

Disappointing
Started great and had two handsome male leads. Loved the development of the plot but, in my opinion, the script took a nosedive a few episodes from the end. I have found that many of the dramas I watch start as if written by an expert but finished by an amateur. I kept going hoping it would improve but couldn't face episodes 22-24. Since the Chinese version is highly recommended I'll check it out. The most upsetting thing for me is not to be able to give 5 stars and the actors deserved that.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
A must watch if you like true historical drama
I started to watch this drama as I really like the acting of Yoon Shi Yoon. Jo Jung Suk was excellent too. The cast acted superbly from minor to major roles. I didn't notice the music so it must have been ok because I always check it out if I really like or dislike! I really enjoyed watching this drama but had to take a short break in the latter quarter of the series because I was too upset to keep watching. However, I went back after a week and finished it. One of the things that was very interesting for me is that these events ended in 1895, just two years before my grandfather was born. There was political intrigue and references to other major powers too. I recommend watching this but keep a box of tissues handy.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
