DBK is one hell of a kind of series. When you take a closer look at each episode, it tackles the real scenario of how a closeted gay kept everything at bay thinking of what other people (whom he loves so much) will say to him. This really happens in real even now that we're already in 2020. It also showed how the series portrayed that not every family is the same way of thinking and understanding towards their own children. I can truly understand the situation of the antagonistic side of the actor knowing the family environment he has been through. I can sense the deep emotional breakthrough of what the series is trying to target towards their audiences. Same-sex relationships must be accepted in any way we can. We must break the norms of the society, of what they are thinking about what is right or wrong when it comes to this relationship. I must say, although this review of mine is already a bit late, it's now or never, that DBK means no matter how difficult and dark the situation the gay couple faced, their kiss on the pool simply means that they conquer it all. Salute! Love from the Philippines. Hoping for an incoming season 2. *cross fingers* :)
