

Both are law and courtroom focused though one focuses on lawyers and the other on prosecutors. They have a main lead that is initially unwilling to support the cause until they realize that they are directly by the actions of the antagonist.


Both have strong depictions of teamwork and friendship in the investigative team even with push back from bosses. They both involve detectives working difficult cases and include some humorous interactions within the team.
They both have a similar plotline of betrayal at the end. Both have an overarching villain trying to be arrested and the detective in charge seeking help from unexpected avenues.


They both have mothers trying to handle the balance between supporting their children and existing happily. Hi Bye, Mama has more dark and serious themes whilst Doctor Cha is slightly more comedy focused.


Both main characters are teachers in schools where power lies with the students who have powerful relatives. Both end up changing the dynamic of the school with their bizarre personalities.


They both have elements of the husband going to an alternate universe or time which was caused by a single change in the man's past actions.


It has the same concept of having supernatural beings (ghosts and vampires) investigate crime and law-related activities.
