I loved to see most of the faces from 10MPB. The storyline however lost me a couple of times. There was absolutely NO chemistry between Ru Ge and Yin Xue. It made me cringe how the old grandpa was acting like that towards a young girl as per the story line. Just found YX so annoying from the very beginning. Zhan feng is a better actor than this script laid out for him,.The prince was just a bit too much, no one is that nice/yielding. It also didn't make sense that 3rd Madam didn't recognize Ru ge or see resemblance until she changed h er hairstyle. . If anything the one who gave it the most was An Ye Luo. It was a poor mix of real and sci/fi fantasy, should have just made it full blown either. I absolutely did not like The Flame's Daughter. The actors were awesome though, just a bad script/storyline.
