Ratings
I tend to give an extra star if I especially enjoyed watching the drama/movie and/or loved the characters. I don't usually change my ratings, but I might do so if I rewatch it and have a different opinion about it, or if another drama/movie I watch makes me look at the ratings differently in comparison. I also noticed that there might be an element of recency bias in my ratings as of late. It's not unexpected, but is certainly something for me to consider, going forward.
- 10: This is as perfect as it can be. This drama/movie (probably) handled its themes perfectly with some excellent performances from its cast members. Strongly recommended.
- 9.5 - 9.0: This is almost perfect. I was probably unable to take even a short break while binge-watching this drama/movie. It is definitely one of my favorites, and I would probably rewatch it again and again. Strongly recommended.
- 8.5 - 8.0: This is great. This drama/movie is either very enjoyable despite some flaws, or nearly perfect but just not quite to my liking. In any case, I enjoyed the viewing experience and it was definitely worth the time I set aside for it. I probably won't rate a drama/movie lower than 8.0 if I actually had fun while watching it. Recommended.
- 7.5 - 7.0: This is good. I obviously liked some elements of this drama/movie even though there are other aspects I don't quite like. I won't rate a drama/movie lower than 7.0 if there are some redeeming/enjoyable aspects and/or elements that I found to be objectively good, even though the project as a whole is not to my liking at all. In practice, this is my lowest "positive" rating.
- 6.5 - 6.0: This is not good, but it also avoids being absolute trash. Could be mediocre and/or the plot doesn't live up to the premise it initially sets up.
- 0.0 - 5.5: This is bad. The rating depends on how much I hated the experience.
