THE KISS!!!!It is easily one of the best kisses in 2024 kdrama!!I rarely get butterflies or swallow my saliva when watching a kiss scene in kdramasbut baek sa eon (or yoo yeon seok) made me swallow my saliva last night!!! and i get this ticklish butterfly feeling around my stomach

We can see that Sa-eon is scared out of his mind to lose Hee-joo. In the scene in which Hee-joo reminds him that he asked to be called once, there is a dead body, and a flash of regret on his face. He is even crying as he rushes toward the flare to save Hee-joo.In retrospect, Sa-eon was cruel to Hee-joo because he thought if he got attached, he wouldn’t be able to let her go. He didn’t know that Hee-joo was in love with him. These two wasted three years because they couldn’t honestly communicate and confess their feelings. To think all these complications and misunderstandings could have ended years ago! Nevertheless, Sa-eon is ready to forgive Hee-joo and work on their relationship.

This episode gave us goosebumps and got our heart beating for two different reasons. One, we love that we are getting more romantic moments between Sa-eon and Hee-joo. They are slowly bringing down the walls between them. However, Sa-eon is so close to discovering the truth, and the kidnapper is not giving Hee-joo a way out either. Our girl has been lucky so far, but she is an amateur, and it is by the grace of the heavens that Sa-eon has been ignoring all the red flags.

We are giving this episode a standing ovation because it was so good. The storyline progressed perfectly, and the emotional scenes were edited flawlessly. This episode shows us Sa-eon’s yearning, Hee-joo’s vulnerability, and the walls between the two starting to crumble.It is fairly accurate to assume that Sa-eon learned the truth the morning of Hee-joo’s interview. Is this why he asked her if she could talk during the interview? Is this why he mentioned the story of the distant couple playing mind games?

We also know that the kidnapper is not working alone. Based on the message the kidnapper exchanged on the phone with his accomplice, it seems the target is ultimately Sa-eon. Now, Sa-eon and his family don’t have a shortage of enemies, so it can be anyone. However, this might be about something that happened years ago. It might also have to do with arson because the kidnapper has a burn mark on his neck.
