10/10

When I tell you episode 1 and 2 had me rolling, lol, it was funny as hell!! I loved how unserious the story is. It's easy to follow despite being short; the cast was really good. Everybody gave an amazing portrayal. The story really reminded me of that young little girl with the same dream. If you know, you know. I really enjoyed it!

Too hyped up but, yall need to watch it

Moving on to season 2, I still feel the same about Teh he seriously annoyed me! He would complain about Oh-aew’s lack of commitment to certain things, but he failed to realize that Oh-aew never gave up on his love for him. Maybe Oh-aew was unsure about his life and career path, but he was always certain of who he loved and wanted to be with. I also felt like Teh didn't understand that life is about growth and change. The fact that Oh-aew repeatedly expressed his hurt since season 1, while Teh continued to act clueless, was baffling to me.

While watching, I often had to remind myself that there were two protagonists, as the focus felt heavily skewed toward Teh’s perspective, leaving the viewer mostly hearing his side of the story. However, whenever Oh-aew did speak, it was powerful and deeply moving. I loved how open and honest he was, which made it all the more heartbreaking to see him hurt repeatedly. It felt fitting that the final scene and argument were left for him to speak.

Overall, the series was good, even if I expected a bit more, probably because of the hype. The ending could have offered a bit more closure, but I liked how they brought everyone together. In short, it's a story of great value that showcases real people and real struggles. At times, I was getting fed up with Oh-aew too, thinking, "Just leave him!" But then I remembered moments in my own life when I didn’t leave either, and that really resonated with me as a viewer.

Good cinematography

I went into the movie without any expectations and without knowing much about it. I hadn’t even watched the trailer. All I knew was that it’s a Netflix movie from South Korea, and the cast is strong.

While watching, I did skip through a few parts—some scenes felt a bit repetitive, and the fight sequences ran a bit long. As the story unfolded, I realized it was structured almost like chapters in a book, focusing on themes like war, revolt, chaos, and ultimately, uprising. That aspect was pretty cool.

That said, I have to admit that the story itself wasn’t particularly striking. It felt more like a series of events leading up to the uprising rather than a gripping narrative. Still, I understood the message of brotherhood, and Yi Jong Ryeo’s final words were beautiful and moving.

Overall, I wouldn’t say it was a bad movie, but it wasn’t exactly my cup of tea.

Really Sweet!

I genuinely dont know why I waited to see this series. I really enjoyed watching the series; they really made my heart skip a couple of beats from time to time. The cast was perfect; I like when actors understand the assignment. In addition, the soundtrack was absolutely beautiful. Phuwin sings amazingly btw. Now on the other hand, the storyline did lack a little bit. Like why no body call the cops on the uncle from the beginning? And they didnt really explain Palm relationship with his mother or how he was so good at fighting and shooting if he was a fishing man. However, despite that I enjoy watching; they had me glued to the screen.

Could be better

Honestly the story is not bad. Is sweet and easy to follow. However, I feel like they focus too much on the career developing aspect rather then their growth as a couple. The portrayal of the characters by the actors was good I personally loved, but sometimes it felt like I was watching with no meaning.

The series of the year!

Overly hyped about the series release! Right off the bat in episode one not even five minutes in they already had me laughing. I went into the series knowing it would stir up some buried feelings, but it did not disappoint. I felt bad for Mr. Kim, but their relationship is a prime example of liking someone but not being compatible with them or not being on the same page.

Episode 2 reminded me of one of life’s biggest lessons: cherish, love, and treasure the present and the people in it, because you can lose everything in the blink of an eye. Episode three was such a bittersweet ride of emotions. His mom is truly a trooper, and so is Ko Yeong. Despite everything his mom did, he managed to move forward, still loving her. Also, I feel that No Yeong Su and his mom share a striking similarity in their characters; they both loved him deeply yet caused him so much pain.

And holy moly, episode four was unbelievably amazing! The hospital scene hit on so many levels. I don’t have a very strong bond with my family, so seeing his friends rush to the hospital for him resonated deeply with me. Also, where was Min Jae? I read on a forum that the book and series differ somewhat regarding Min Jae and Yeong’s relationship, which might explain why she wasn’t there when he needed her most.

If you strip away the actors and focus on the story itself, you'll see the most accurate reflection of life’s path: love, discovery, grief, anger, and acceptance. This is definitely the BL of the year! I don’t think I’ve ever related to a character as much as I did with Ko Yeong. I know the book is written in four parts, so I wonder if there’s any chance for continuation. But I doubt it, given the final scene and Ko Yeong’s explanation.

I’m no expert, but it’s clear how well written this series is. It made me reflect on my own life and relationships, which is just one of the many reasons I love it. Many flowers to all the actors their portrayals were magnificently amazing.

The series was funny, joyful, sad, bold, honest, educational, and sexy. It captured friendship, loss, and the beauty and pain of life. I hope people approach it with open eyes, ears, mind and heart because there's so much you can take away from it.
