The Jerk and the Angel: Love-hate edition
The Bad Guy and the Good Girl trope/story line is very compelling for me!
(Can be considered to be the lighter version of the Overly-possessive, obsessive, cruel hero list.)
- The male lead must show hateful behavior towards the female lead at first, such as not caring for her well-being or, well, acting like a jerk towards her.
- But in the end, he will show remorse for his bad behavior, atone for sins, and will love her with all his heart ;)
- Hate-to-love elements for sure
- I'm not choosey on the heroine: she can be sweet and innocent or strong and not-so-innocent. She can either kick-ass or just be a good girl.
