Watchlist 2019

I liked it better than the movie in many ways, but it's lacking something overall.  Some strange holes are in it, but they are hard to explain. The secondary characters are awesome and the people she transforms into are fantastic.  It's slow in places and makes little sense in some of the decisions of the characters. Glad I watched it, but it's not going to be one of my top dramas.

Sad but sweet.

Cute show.  Good cast.  Well acted.  Solid drama all around.  

I really enjoyed this show. The ML and FL are a lot of fun to watch together.  They have great chemistry.  The 2ML is great too and you get to like him since he's not after the FL. :-) The 2FL was a really good actress, but for me a super annoying character.  I literally could not watch many of her scenes because of the way they made her talk and act.  Many people liked the character, but it was just to much for me.

Super cute! I enjoyed it, but the Mom was an awful character so I fast forwarded through most of her scenes...same for the sister. 

Such a good show.  Not as angsty as the episode descriptions make it seem.  It's got some surprising twists and turns too.  The characters are great and you come to love the ones you didn't think you would and cheer for them too.

Loved the recipes at the end of each episode.  The story was...well...pretty much missing.

I really enjoyed this movie.  Sweet and somewhat sad, but still hopeful.  :-)

A little confusing, but ok.

The main cast is cute.  The story is a bit tiresome in parts so I fast forwarded quite a bit. The FL character is a bit tough to take at times as well. Not the best drama, but not the worst either.  

Violent and I didn't really understand/like the ending.

Loved it!

This is an interesting drama that has several twists that keep the story flowing.  It's a fun story of friendship and how adults can make poor decisions even when trying to protect their children...and sometimes out of jealously as well.

I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would.

Such a sweet and fun show.  The characters are great fun and there isn't and not an "evil"villain anywhere. Just slice of life drama with super adorable leads.

I thought this show would be cute, but it's just pretty odd.  I fast forwarded through probably half of every episode because of the utter nonsense being spouted by so many of the female characters.  

Solid show, well written, extremely well acted.  Great lead couple and the second male lead is an awesome character too.  One of my faves of any drama.

Cute Saturday morning type show.  

This was a easy to watch and well done.  I enjoyed it.

First let me say, that I REALLY enjoyed this drama.  I watched the whole drama in about 3 days, so that is saying something.  However, it'snot perfect.  The noble idiocy is EXTREMELY annoying and the Female lead cries buckets All.The.Time...which gets kind of annoying.  But I think that was how her character was written so that's not a jab at the actress...just an annoyance with the character.  But for real...it's a lot. One thing I did think was really cool was how one character changed from someone I really didn't like to someone I did like.  I won't say more than that though because I don't want to give away any spoilers.  All in all though a really really good drama with top notch acting throughout and I'm so glad I watched it.

I enjoyed this drama.  It has some issues, but it's cute overall.

It's taken me about a year to finish this show.  It's a relaxing show to watch when you just want to enjoy some pretty scenery and fun personalities.  Not really something to binge though.  I enjoyed both seasons. 

I liked this show, but it was a bit frustrating that it takes a LONG time for the love story to fully take hold and the ending is very strange.  Not bad necessarily, but leaves you going, "Wait, that's it?" You sort of wish there was one more episode.

I really wanted to like this show.  I mean, it has good acting, an interesting plot, and it's well done overall, but it just didn't click with me.  It felt too long.  You know how there can be certain scenes where if you pause for just the right length of time, it adds a good effect or tension, but if it's too long a pause, it just gets awkward.  This felt like the latter.  Stuff was drawn out just a bit too much where you didn't quite know how to feel.  And the fact that it kept skipping to a historical comic book off and on did NOT help matters.   I got very frustrated about halfway through and was just trying to get through the last few episodes.  It's a shame too, because all the actors did a great job with what they were given.  

I fast forwarded A LOT in this drama.  It just didn't keep my attention and  some of the humor wasn't in the best taste. Lots of issues with the various situations too.

Was ok as a show.  I found myself disliking one of the female lead characters, so I didn't care much about her story line.  It was impossible to skip totally though because it was a bit interwoven with the other female lead's story.  The story of the naive girl female lead who learns to be confident was much more interesting to me. 

This is a side story of A-Teen, but I wasn't a fan of the way the story unfolded.

Really cute, but not subbed.  I made it all the way through all the episodes anyway though.  :-)

Always fun to watch them chatting together.

I always enjoy these types of variety/reality shows.

Decent drama.  Only real drawback is the choices made by the FL about halfway though the drama. She's exceedingly frustrating at times, but the other characters are fun to watch and even she is fine most of the time.

It was nice to see the characters from the first season together, but for me, the "issue" that caused conflict was just too silly.  A big part of it revolved around choosing whether or not to go to college with your friends/boyfriend and since the colleges in question didn't even seem to be all that far apart, the whole idea that there would even be a conflict because of it seems rather far fetched...at least to me. The issues of the 2nd lead couple did seem more plausible.  Cute show overall though.

Slow, but decent.

Love these type of shows and this one is very cute.  In the first episode they are VERY awkward, but it's fun to see them grow and get more comfortable as it goes along.

This movie is so bad. It's filmed in a way that often makes you dizzy, it's plot is just bad on many levels and it encourages sex way way too early.  I really have nothing positive to say about it except that their is a bagel toward the end of the film that two of the characters are eating and it's rainbow colored.  I'd never seen one of the those before.  I was more curious about how it might taste than anything else in the film...so that says something right there.

I bit odd, but ok.

I watched this mostly as it was released on Viki and I think that hindered my enjoyment a bit.  I think it would be a good "Binge" show, but because the episodes were very short and there was a massive wait between episodes, it was hard to stay invested like I wanted to.  I will probably watch it again later now that it's all out and subbed.  I might give it a higher score then.  We will see.

This show had a twist that totally surprised me.  Short and interesting!

This show is so fun.  I really enjoyed it.  I hope there are more episodes, but there haven't been any new ones in months, so I'm assuming that it will only have 2.  Always fun to watch idols cook and chat.

This show is just so cute!  If it were subbed I would give it a 10.  You can't not grin while you watch these male idols try their best to put makeup on the female celebrities.  It's a hoot!

Slightly better than the prequel, but still somewhat confusing.

VERY odd premise.  There is an ick factor with the storyline of the Older brother and the Younger Sister, but nothing happens so it's not horrible...just still odd.  The Older Sister character is a horror.  She's terrible to the people around her and it's hard to "root" for her at all.  Honestly, I would have ff through every scene she was in, but I liked her love interest which is the Younger Brother (the Sisters are not related to the Brothers) so I couldn't always do so.  Just strange all the way around.  

Now I understand the BT21 characters connection to BTS.  Before I saw this I was clueless.

This show picks up right where season 1 left off.  It's a fun show and uses the same characters as the first season so it feels familiar. There are some rather annoying scenes in both seasons where classmates gossip, but that can be overlooked or FF through. Thankfully it does not end on a cliff hanger so that's a blessing.  But it does feel like a rather abrupt ending. I know there is a 3rd season, so I suppose the story finishes there.  

Several twists and turns, but it was a bit confusing at times.  I may have been too tired to grasp it all, but it was just ok for me.

This is a cute show. The main issue is the side female characters.  They are so frustratingly one dimensional. Most of them are either ditsy, mean, boy crazy,  or some combination thereof.  Also there is a  cliff hanger in the last episode so it's a good thing there is a season two or I'd be really upset with the ending.

My favorite version of this story...the actors/actresses do a really good job.  The villain is beyond awful and is played well, but she's hard to watch because she's so mean.  I enjoyed the show, but it's really hard to not see the female lead character as a bit strange since she's falling in love with a robot. On the other hand, you really do feel for the robot who want's to be real. 

Adorable and fluffy

I really really liked this drama.  There was a bit of angst toward the end that I could have done without, but there's a happy ending so that's ok...though the last scene seems a little odd to me.  Not bad, as it offered a way to review the story, but still...a bit odd to me.

Such a good show.  I really enjoyed it. My only complaint is the amount of time it takes the leads to get together. It's MUCH too long...so much so that I fast forwarded much of the last few episodes because I just didn't want to wait for them anymore.   Even so, it's such a good show. The main plot was interesting and I enjoyed the stories of the side characters as well.

This one was cute and contrary to the photo promo, it's very sweet rather than sexy.  I thought it was a fun one to watch.

Such a fun show!

Enjoyed the main character's storyline.  I fast forwarded through most of the side plots.  They were not boring, but I just was more interested in the main story.

The first season of the series, but I watched it 2nd.  The members are SO SO Young.  It's neat  to see them before their debut though.

I liked this season too, but there were a few games that felt like they were unnecessary.  

My favorite season thus far.  This group just worked together so well.  

Another fun series.  Following the idol's journey through the reality shows are one of my favorite types of shows.

Really funny, but hard to find totally subbed.  

I new the outcome and it was still brutal to watch at times.

What on Earth did I watch?  This show is just messed up on so many levels.

This show had a really interesting story line and great acting.  The characters are well written and the mystery has a lot of twists. The leads are great together.  Even so...it felt like something was a bit off.  I can't really put my finger on it, but it was like each episode was a tad too long.  All in all though, it was a good show and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys a crime drama (with a bit of romance on the side).

I didn't like this one as much as I thought I would, but it was ok.

The story is ok and the acting is good, but this has so much foul language in it that it reminded me of the stuff that made me pretty much quit watching US shows.  Not a fan of this one.

Silly but fun

Very interesting and well acted movie.

This show is great if you are looking for a short drama.  It's got good characters, a sweet story, and is easy to watch. My only complaint is that it ends rather abruptly. Other than that though...super cute.

Such a good show.  I really like how the main characters already know each other when it begins so you get to skip that "awkward getting to know you phase" of their relationship.  Though they are not together, they are very close and it's a fun relationship to watch develop.

Odd on so many levels.

Decent, but a bit slow.  I ended up fast forwarding quite a bit of the last 3 episodes because I just wanted to see the happy ending.  

A bit better than the first season, but still slow at times.  I'm beginning to think these seasons could be made in about 3-4 episodes tops.

Of the first three I liked this one the best, but it also had maybe the most ridiculous starting point.  

This was the best drama I have seen in a long time. Excellent writing, interesting twists, great characters, and not a single part I needed to fast forward through (except the credits sometimes).  It was amazing and I HIGHLY recommend it.

A nice way to finish off the drama, but it doesn't really add anything to it.  Gives a few extra scenes, but I had hoped there would be more about the birth of the son or something.  Even so, adorable like the rest of the drama.

I was pretty unfamiliar with this group until I watched this show. Can now say I'm a fan!

This show was a bit of a roller coaster with three main leads, but it was great fun to watch.  Couple things that stood out as odd:  NO teachers in the school...and no class work either.
The students are supposed to be 15 (it's mentioned in the first episode), but there is not one scene in the show where they look or act even remotely 15.  It if had said 18, it might have worked, but at 15...NO.  The only character that acted like a real 15 year old was one of the adults in the show.  So, if you think of it as a college drama rather than a 1st year of High School one (which is the actual setting), you'll probably like it better and it will make more sense.  Overall though, a good show that totally sucked me in.

Every Actor and Actress does an amazing job in this show, but that being said...there are so many issues with this drama.  From the way it portrays people with weight issues (as if they are problems to be dealt with), to the way it discusses suicide (and even homicide) to the selfishness of the Female Lead (both versions), it's just not an easy watch. I did watch it though hoping to see that they would change the way they viewed the heavy Female Lead and that does happen to a certain extent, but, with the exception of the Male Lead, some of the cast still seem to view her "real" self as an illness or found it utterly shocking that the Male Lead would love her and that was disheartening.  So, I give them credit for making an effort, but there was still a long way to go with this drama.
