Rythyme's Gay Ass Shit Scale

I will be rating LGBT dramas on the Gay Ass Shit scale, which consists of 3 separate ratings on scales of 1-10 as described below:

Gay: How much the show plays into and/or rewards familiarity with BL drama tropes. This is NOT actually a measure of the "gayness" of a show. In fact, depicting an authentic gay experience could probably result in a low score for this metric. On this scale, 1 is a show that feels like it just happens to be about LGBT characters; a 10 is an enemies to lovers romance between engineering students who keep advertising skincare products while wiping each other down with damp washcloths.

Ass: Simply put, this is a measure of fanservice and steaminess. A 1 is a show you could show your queer-friendly grandmother, while a 10 is like. Why R U? or something. Sex scenes, gratuitous shirtlessness, and steamy makeouts will boost this score.

Shit: A measure of overall quality. A 1 is a perfect masterpiece that should probably win an award or something. A 10 has a budget of like $2 and the worst writing/pacing/sound design/etc. you've ever seen. Basically, it's shit.

To rank these shows, I will take the average of the 3 scores. A lower score is a show that is more "conventionally watchable" while a higher score indicates something that is better left to hardcore BL fans. This is not a judgement of how good a show is or even my own personal taste.
