Well-performed lesbian story of jealousy and being closeted. It felt real. But oof, Sui is rather suffocating as a romantic partner. But, Jaewon never caved to her demands. ?

The last couple episodes were teetering on being uncharacteristic of the drama as a whole. Plus the FL started annoying me for the very first time. But all-in-all, such a cute and healthy romance. I loved the ride thoroughly.

It had really good memorable moments and the acting was pretty good, but nothing to keep me excited for more episodes. It just felt flat, the chemistry wasn't consistent (somehow they managed to perfectly deliver intimate scenes, but couldn't carry over the passion and love outside of them), and the conflicts were rather repetitive and then rushed to conclusion.

WHY DOES NO ONE FINISH HIS DESSERT?!?!

It was cute. Can't connect in the least. But cute.
I loved the way this story was told.
And words of wisdom delivered over dessert, and incorporating the lore of the dessert itself, are the best kind.
And such a satisfying ending!

I'm reminded a bit of One Night Morning in style. And the ML reminds of Pharm from UWMA.

It was a good one. Beautiful. Simple. Lovable characters. The comedic timing in that first 2/3rds was great.
And the fact that I'm crying like this is proof that they built up that emotional poignancy very well, without me even realizing it.

The female lead felt excessively dense. She seemed to have one expression as well: pouty and confused. Her best friend is just as dense, and permanently cheerful. In fact, all 4 characters were pretty one-dimensional, and the atmosphere just felt consistently flat.

Still don't know how these are being considered "dramas." There's no real plot to them at all, they're just isolated cheesy romance scenes.

But, unlike Oh My Boss, this one does appear to follow a logical and chronological sequence. And it was more swoon-cheesy than comedy-cheesy, if that makes sense.

Watched this last night. A powerful story about being torn between religion and identity, well acted and well-handled. I feel so bad for our male lead, for so many reasons. This story deserves a full-length adaptation.

I really liked the fact that this drama explored the deteriorating relationship between an already longstanding couple. The soundtrack and aesthetic was pretty, and had an overall winter-mellow tone to it. The leads generally acted quite well, in my opinion, for this effect. Even the pacing was consistent. It never had periods where it excessively dragged, nor did it feel rushed.

But, in the end, it just felt like something was missing. Maybe a more proper resolution to the cause of their relationship problems? Maybe more character growth from Ritsu? And, in the end, Ritsu's brother and the couple's neighbor could've been the same character. They both were seen so rarely that they felt unnecessary and like cop-outs.

Definitely one of my favorite GL webdramas at the the moment. The acting and atmosphere was immersive even while being mellow and low-angst (not to the point of being fluffy though).

I certainly have enough to say to fill a long review, but it's not gonna be seen by anyone but a handful of you and I'm sure there are several reviews already posted that say it all.

I have quite a few Hong Sisters productions on my PTW, but based on the ones I've seen, I'm extremely hesitant to watch any of them.

Look. They can deliver some great characters (good, evil, and everything in between) and gorgeous romances. I loved watching the progression of how true love developed, even while under what was effectively a love spell. It was a fascinating premise (and kudos to Lee Seung Gi for being able to pull it off). Several characters won me over, some even without me realizing it (I love you Octopus Prince!). And, of course, my favorite characters were support characters (how very typical of me, right?). And the frenemies dynamic between the ML and the Devil King was GLORIOUS!

But come on.
They literally made the chosen one into a damsel. Through and through. She was stupid, had no sense of self-preservation (even before she went all self-sacrificial with love), had selective hearing to rival my parents, and had the memory of a goldfish. In fact, several characters did when it came to anything about her. HELLOOO Plot Holes. *Sarcastic Chef's Kiss*

Still disappointed how anticlimactic "fight" scenes were, but I guess that's why action isnt in the genres. Even though it made sense with the story being told. It felt like a kids show in that regard.

However, the soundtrack was to die for. And the "Touch her and you die" trope was ever prevalent and ever enjoyed (although, I wish they would've went further with it at times).

Also, we should've ended on a kiss. That's all I can say without spoilers, but WE SHOULDVE ENDED ON A KISS!!
