pure arthouse/film noir style. It is a very unique concept, that won't let you stop watching till you finish it. And just wow to the actors! Each one does a phenomenal job, especially considering that the female cast does not have such a huge experience in tv-productions. Respect! 9/10

This was definitely not what I thought it would turn out to be. This is very disturbing, you think you got it all figured out till you reach the end and then you truly learn everything. I would say it is a very artsy movie. There are a lot of motives and psychological aspects that make it very hard to rate it in a comparison with other more conventional dramas. This one truly is one of its own. Well done but very disturbing, 8,5/10

I honestly dont know what to feel about this movie. It is disturbing, sad, hopeful, painful, strange and just different. I enjoyed it, at first it felt like a stretch but the longer it went on the more complex it got but at the same time it makes you question why they do what they do. Even the final makes me question everything. That is what a good movie should do, make you wonder and stay unforgettable . 9,5/10

that was actually quite an interesting movie. Disturbing? heck yes. But it also had so many themes and methapers in it that it became in itself quite poetic. 9/10

Wow that is truly something. Artistic-wise this is an absolute wonderful movie, even the story and acting are very well done. The only thing I think they could have reduced is the amount of specific scenes. The rest was very well done 7/10

After seeing the anime trailer I got curious about this movie. What an amazing piece this is. It is brutal raw and honest, especially the ending. Well done. 9,5/10

that was heart wrenching. A movie i cannot even put into words. It was very well acted, very unique but also very raw and brutal. The acting of these children was absolutely amazing 8/10

beautiful but sad. A young child and her aunt develop a relationship. Its done in such an realistic way that it does not feel like a movie. Instead its like being a invisible guest to a real situation. The ending is bittersweet. Sad but sweet. Only thing i wished for is that it would be a bit longer and maybe have a slight happier ending 9,5/10

this is quite sad. Makes you question society a lot. The family was so heartfelt and well acted, the cinematography and the story! Just wow. Very well done. Sometimes it did not even like I was watching a movie, instead it felt like i was witness to something happening in real life. Very powerful 8/10

This movie is unique in its own way. The logical part does not per say make sense in regards to the trains working and so on. However the story behind it is very good. The world, the characters and also the actors are a joy to watch. I made the mistake and watched the series before the movie and thus....yeh you cannot truly beat Melanie Cavill. Even if the original movie version has its own charm with its own set of diverse characters but the character of Melanie gave me such a strong impression that I miss her dearly in this movie version. Otherwise movie and series work the same way. There are a lot of scenes one is better than the other but they both are well balanced in terms of their specific benefits and faults. 7,5/10
