favorite lakorns

Loved it so so much. I've tried to watch historical dramas many times since I started watching dramas in 2012, but I realized they're not for me. That was until I decided to give Love Destiny a shot, and I don't regret it at all! Seen it 2 times already and it's rare for me to rewatch lakorns since the episodes are so long. Bhuppae Sunniwat is funny, emotional, and for once I loved both main lead's personalities. Not to mention the pra'ek (male lead)'s family, I managed to appreciate all of them.  Bella and Pope's chemistry is one of the best I've seen in a lakorn until now.

Even if you're not into lakorns or historical dramas in general, I think you would find Bhuppae Sunniwat interesting.

Another one I managed to rewatch, mainly for the romance in it. Sean and Esther have so much chemistry and although I didn't love kate's personality, in the end it made sense for her to be like that.  It's a lakorn so it has its flaws, but I find it to be quite the easy-watch, it doesn't drag for too long.

Weir and Stephany surprised me with their chemistry, i liked that there were no major misunderstandings between the leads, Weir's character was always respectful and trusted her. Easy watch! :)

Great and Kao did such a good job in this one! Loved it. There's the right amount of everything:  love, drama, romance, action, comedy, even a bit of fantasy thrown in, and the whole "spy" thing is interesting too. Despite all of these elements it remains an easy watch, it's hard to find parts to skip.

update: rewatched this one after a long time (and many more lakorns in between), i'd say it's not on my must watch/best lakorns list now as it was before, but still an easy watch although there's many things i didn't like as much the second time around. the romance is still great, not one of the best i've seen though. 

Really loved this one for Mik's character. I know some people can find Pooklook's character to be quite annoying, but I found her cute instead haha. I loved how Mik's character stayed so respectful of her the whole time, it's  a nice change from the usual lakorn pra'eks who tend to be violent towards the nang'eks. Good for the romance in it, but i also enjoyed the plot.

This one is just really cute and short, not much to be said! 

I was surprised by the fact that Bomb's character (despite being in the mafia) ended up as one of the most caring and respectful pra'eks i've seen. I wish there was more romance, but it's a nice twist to see a nang'ek who is actually useful and can do stuff on her own. One bad thing about this is the fact that there's many useless scenes or scenes that are too long for no reason, but if you're a lakorn watcher then you're probably used to skipping those. 

this one is just really cute, despite the dramatic premise the fl is so nice and makes it enjoyable, the ml is also nice after he realises that something's off.

stays of my list as one of my favorites lakorns, specifically in the "city girl goes country mode" trope haha mik is great here, can feel the chemistry as well. 

one of the very few heavy revenge plots i could manage to finish, so i did give it a high rating, sila has his own charm but i didn't like his character's choices at all. 

high score because yaya and mark are great in this, again didn't like how mark's character which was so supposedly so sweet to his ex could act so irrationally at times. not one of my favorite roles of his, still great chemistry.

saw it again and loved it even more than the first time. please go past the first 5 episodes, it's worth it.

similar premise to love destiny, but older. it was really popular at the time, i found out about it because as i was rewatching love destiny i noticed bella mentioned it in there. it was cute, male lead could've had a bit more of a personality haha but still a cute watch
