101. Le Vrai Où
Chinese Special - 2020, 1 episode
It was too short for me to really enjoy anything, except maybe the song. Loved the cast though.

102. Olá? Sou Eu!
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
I found the first half slightly boring and her younger version was such an annoying brat that it almost ruined the series for me. However, the last 3 episodes were amazing and I really loved the character growth in those last few episodes. People finally came to terms with their past, their problems, and themselves. It was just so nice to see.

103. Eu uma vez me lembrei daquele cara
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
It's a super average and generic school drama. It was practically a waste of time cuz there are so many better school dramas out there. ML's reason for disappearing and not wanting to get back together made no sense. See review for more details.

105. Pingue-Pongue
Chinese Drama - 2021, 44 episodes
I love my sports dramas and this is a proper one...none of that fake sports drama crap where they have sports as a backdrop for romance. My average episode rating is 7.5, but this was a quality drama so I'm bumping it up to an 8. They actually paid attention to the editing, direction, and sound quality (no dubbing!). If they used stunt doubles, they hid it pretty well. I loved how the main characters transformed throughout this drama. Like they literally showed Bai Jing Ting gain muscle as the drama progressed. The actor wore a lot more sleeveless shirts to show off those muscles in the second half. xD
Now the second half of the drama is not as good as the first half, but it's still decent. It's just their situation is different. They have more to lose than to gain as they deal with new hurdles that come their way. The two main characters also are not training together due to reasons so you lose the bromance aspect too. Some stuff was edited out to shorten the drama, but I was okay with this. A couple things with side characters were left unconcluded (some shady characters needed to be hit with karma!) However, there were no major villains. Overall, I loved it. If you're a fan of sports dramas you'll definitely like it. If you're looking for romance, this is not for you.Sports Drama ✔︎

106. Uma História de Amor: Você é a Maior Alegria da Minha Vida
Chinese Drama - 2021, 45 episodes
This is one of those typical cliché fashion designer dramas and it's full of tropes that are not even the entertaining kind. It's like a copy and paste with such unoriginal writing. The only difference is that, unlike the usual talented and naive female lead, the female lead here is strong and confident. She is also not your typical poor or orphan lead. She does not let people walk all over her. Other than than that, it's got your typical jealous characters trying to sabotage things for the main lead. A good portion of this drama takes place in France. Some of the scenic stuff was nice, but I'm not sure why so many episodes were spent on this abroad portion. Also, there's a second lead who's super annoying and clingy. It was all just bad writing.
The main thing this drama has going for it is Zhang Han. I'm not even a fan, but you can't deny his popularity pulled in an audience. He is also one of the better actors in this drama. The male lead is very possessive and a touchy feely kind of guy in this drama. He gives the female lead lots of hugs and is constantly touching her, but the way he does it so casually looks so natural. When he touches her, there is none of that slow motion nonsense or dramatic romantic music playing in the background. It's this factor that makes the couple seem more realistic and like they have natural chemistry. There's also some really cute cheesy stuff toward the end of the drama.
Overall, I would not recommend unless you are a fan of Zhang Han...Even then, I'd only recommend watching the first episode and then the last 5 episodes for the cute romance stuff. Let the flashbacks explain the rest of the story. The fashion storyline was absolute crap.Fashion ✔︎

107. Your Highness
Chinese Drama - 2017, 20 episodes
It took me a while to get into, but it's a decent drama I guess. I'm usually into gaming dramas, but it didn't suck me in as much as I was expecting it to. It's a funny drama, but I guess I wasn't in the mood for this type of humor atm. Some scenes did crack me up though. I'm also probably going through dubbing fatigue (my tolerance for dubbing has lowered), so it's just bad timing on my part.

108. O Rio Onde a Lua Nasce
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
Overall, not an absolute mess like I thought it would be. If you give the drama a chance, it does get better in the second half. It's a decent drama. Production wise, it's great. Script wise, it's a bit weak. I can't say for sure it was worth my time though. It lands in "meh" territory, but leaning toward the good side.

109. Missão Possível
Korean Movie - 2021
It's a feel good action comedy that just hits the spot. The plot might seem typical: a spy mission gone wrong. However, the writing is pretty hilarious. I found myself laughing out loud many times. Sometimes it just hits you at the most unexpected moments. The action is pretty good too. I really loved some of the close combat fight scenes in this movie, especially the knife fight toward the end. The two main characters are such an odd pair, but somehow they make a good team. Overall, a great movie if you're looking for laughs. It's just a fun spy movie.
-
110. Sweet Munchies
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
I watched this for the food and the culinary part of the show delivered. They featured a lot of seafood dishes, which I could've cared less about, but the rest had my mouth watering. As for the fake gay storyline...oh boy, so messed up. It's like the writer tried to be woke, but didn't do the proper research because they were like "you can either straight or gay...nothing else." I had major SLS...it was painful. There were some really annoying, chauvinist pigs in this drama. I couldn't stand that other PD character and I wanted him to be ruined, but nothing happened to him. :( The ending was so rushed and incomplete. As for the OST, the songs initially seemed like an odd fit for this genre, but somehow grew on me.

111. Street Dance of China Season 2
Chinese TV Show - 2019, 12 episodes
So 9 was my rating as of ep 10 and then I put it on hold for a year and a half and returned to finish it. I think I'm going to keep the same rating. It might seem high and I know I'm really biased when it comes to dance competitions, but I really enjoyed this season for the following reasons: dance, the set, this season's crop of dancers (more undiscovered talent and dark horses), the captains (Show Lo is a born entertainer). It was a really funny and entertaining season. Unfortunately I think this season is half subbed, so I had to watch 2nd half raw. Luckily you don't need subs for dance. :)
-
112. Street Dance of China: Season 3
Chinese TV Show - 2020, 12 episodes
I wouldn't say it was the best season, but it was the most popular one yet (especially due to the "oppa" captains) and fully subbed too. I wasn't a fan of some of the rule changes this year, especially early on. This season was also a bit more scripted...I'm gonna break out the 4 things I liked about last season and compare it to this one.
The captains: This was a plus and minus for me. Although I enjoyed their presence on the show, when you've got 3 oppa captains in one season for ratings, there are 2 cons. The first is the show's focus moves away from the dancers and moves on to the captains instead (and that's exactly what happened). The other is that you get a lot of biased comments.
The set: I feel like the set is still the same as last season, but they didn't utilize the set to its full capability. The show also lost its underground feel and felt more mainstream variety. As for stages, the water stage was pretty cool this season.
The dance: This season's performances were still great. You will still enjoy it for the dance.
This season's crop of dancers: So China heard that Breaking will be a part of the 2024 Olympics and went ✍ 'Hmm, maybe this hip hop thing isn't that bad after all.' The dancers this season were a lot of winners from competitions and they even brought in some international talents to increase the difficulty. Very few dark horses were discovered this season. :( But yeah, this season's crop of dancers wasn't as good overall, but they did have some amazing talents.
In conclusion, if you're watching this for the captains, you'll love this. If you're watching for the the dance competition, you'll still enjoy it for the dance, but you'll have to sift through the bias and scripted variety. -

116. Navillera
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
Aside from that one super cliche trope, this was all very good writing. It's a very touching and heartwarming drama. I couldn't stop watching it. It made me smile a lot and also got a bit teary eyed too (though it's not as sad as some people made it out to be). I can think of very few flaws, but here are some things others have pointed out.
1. Song Kang's acting is a bit weak. He still did a decent job though.
2. If you were trained in ballet, you'll see some ballet related things that are technically wrong. However, if you know very little about ballet, you can hardly notice, so you'll still enjoy it.Elderly character ✔︎

117. Por Yung Lung Mai Wahng
Thai Drama - 2017, 11 episodes
I liked how it had a nice ML, a cute kid, and it gradually takes place over many years. What I didn't like were the villains. I'm not used to that one actress being in a negative role. Some of the things she did hit a nerve cuz it involved an innocent child. The antagonist storyline had an odd conclusion. FL is sweet, but she kept running from her problems. She's not as bad as other lakorn FLs though. As far as wishy washy FLs go, she's kind of in the middle.
-
118. Tai Ngao Jan
Thai Drama - 2015, 15 episodes
I watched this for Great. Technically, it's your typical lakorn, but I enjoyed it. FL is spoiled, but oddly likable. ML is the typical gentleman type. SFL tries to be a nangrai, but fails at being evil cuz she's nice. It's cute lol. The background music is fun. The makeup artist did a terrible job. It looks overdone on both FL and ML. I would've loved to see FL in some more comfortable clothes. I was getting stressed seeing her dress like a hi-so all the time lol.

121. Vincenzo
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
I thoroughly enjoyed this. Once in a blue moon you get a drama that comes along involving an antihero and it absolutely slays. I feel guilty laughing at some of the jokes cuz it was at the expense of Italians, but I'm sure they took it in good stride. The humor can be a bit silly, but I personally loved it. The plot was only slightly stretched thin across 20 episodes. It wasn't draggy per se, but I started to lose interest after 12 episodes. It was more like, "well this has been fun and all, but can we move on to the next arch now? I have a short attention span." Luckily, it picks back up toward the end. For me what makes me enjoy a drama are good villains because what's a hero without a good villain? I loved the villains here. They were enjoyable to watch. I loved the ending. They tied up all the loose ends. It was a good dark, action comedy. This drama was many things, but at the end of the day it's a silly but fun lawyer drama.

123. Tiger & Dragon
Japanese Drama - 2005, 11 episodes
This one eventually grew on me. Although the subs had some translator notes, I needed a lot more to go with them. I feel like I missed a lot of jokes/punchlines, but it was still funny. This drama had a lit cast. A lot of OG actors are in it (no pun intended). I think the main thing that annoyed me was the yakuza/gangster way of talking. I would have found it hilarious years ago, but I've outgrown that type of humor and can barely stand how they scream when they talk now. Some of the slapstick humor left a bitter taste in my mouth (it was a bit too violent from what I'm used to). Other than that, I loved the stories.

This is like a masterpiece compared to the 2020 remake. It's a very old school makjang. It was probably a 7 for its time, but the last 10 episodes were super draggy so I had to drop my rating. FL is super annoying in the beginning, but changes for the better....and then becomes so freaking dull in the 2nd half.

126. In Hand
Japanese Drama - 2019, 11 episodes
The timing of this drama was insane! To think it finished airing just 5 months before this whole pandemic stuff went down. CRAZY. It's technically your typical jdrama that has a weird, but genius lead. What I enjoyed most were the various exotic animals and of course ML's fluffy Samoyed. It's got a fun soundtrack too. The plot may be like a 7, but +0.5 because I still managed to learn a lot from it. Also, I still can't get over the timing, especially with some the stuff shown in this drama involving government, diseases, and outbreaks.

I started this cuz ML is a marine bioligist, but turns out I walked into an infidelity drama. >_< As far as cheating plots go, this wasn't too bad. However, it has many things in it that I personally dislike. The story got much more interesting after 5 ep. I love how Choi Yeo Jin's character was written. She was my fave tbh.

128. Hito wa Mita Me ga 100%
Japanese Drama - 2017, 10 episodes
I ended up really loving it, but that's probably cuz I could really relate as a tomboy and introvert (though her shyness is an extreme). These girls learn fashion and beauty using scientific research methods. They are such dorks. I found it hilarious, especially in the beginning. The clutch episode had me dying. xD This drama started out as an 8 for me, but I can see why people dropped their rating. I feel like they did me dirty with the romance subplot. At first I was like, "Why even include it?" But then I realized it's all part of her growth and journey.

I'm not sure why this was popular to the point it got a 2nd season. Although, s1 does say " To be continued..." Anyways, nope, I would not recommend this to crime show fans. It's just super unrealistic regarding some of the things the characters did. So much unprofessionalism all across the board. So many characters with extreme, exaggerated reactions. I just could not.

Finally finished. It was a good binge watch and kind of refreshing. It's more romcom than it is revenge. I really loved Lee. The one person I was expecting to be annoying, turned out to be great. But then again, the person I was really, really rooting to stay good, ended up turning evil. :( It was kind of predictable, but I liked it.

131. Darling in Law
Thai Drama - 2021, 22 episodes
So I thought it was pretty good for a toxic romance / slap/kiss lakorn...right up until about ep 13. Then people just started being dumb and making stupid decisions by not involving law enforcement (I know...they're useless in lakorns anyway, but it's the logical thing to do!). And then they brought in another random hoe who thirsts after ML, which was really odd. I'd rather they'd use that time to reveal who Rin's baby daddy was and expand on that whole arch. So yeah...that's why I dropped my rating. Second half is draggy with too many loose ends.

134. Tempo de Amor e Alegria com Você
Chinese Drama - 2021, 31 episodes
It's an above average cdrama. I loved it and could probably give it an 8, but I'm gonna leave it at this rating for now. The OST was awesome. FL's outfits were stellar. The main thing that annoyed me was they spent so much time on the depressed comedian character. It took her way too long to overcome her issues. This plot is very similar to upcoming drama You Are My Glory. I feel like this will be the better of the two. I'm not a fan of the producers of the other drama and I feel like a lot of the quality will be sacrificed.
In this drama, the ML supposedly majored in E-sports, but they kept talking about "big data" and going to "big data competitions". Why couldn't they just make him a Computer Science major? Just to be clear, there is no such thing as esports teams competing in Big Data. Speaking of which, I keep hearing this term "big data analytics" being thrown around in cdramas lately because it is a hot field right now. Idk if translators are using a literal translation, but the actual term for this in the industry is data science or data analytics..."Big data analytics" sounds so odd to me.E-sports ✔︎

Idk, it's probably a 7/10 for me. It's clearly a quality drama with a decent budget. It was just a bit too draggy for me with some arcs. So it's like one of those "it's not you, it's me" situations. The whole medical thing and the patriotism/propaganda thing is just not my thing. The medical stuff was pretty decent, but I think the draggyness ruined it for me. It would've been better as a 24-30 episode drama.

Not sure what's up with that sexy poster because it initially turned me away from this drama, but it barely has any romance in it. Ayano Go with facial hair threw me off. Dude could be master of disguise. This drama has two episodes per case, which is uncommon for a Japanese mystery drama.
I just realized that jdramas tend to use the same set when it comes to professor's offices. It's starting to irritate me seeing the same office back to back in dramas. xD Literally the last 3 jdramas I watched used the same set. The one before that DIDN'T use the same set and it was In Hand starring Yamapi....though he is technically just a genius scientist, not a professor. -

It was actually pretty great for its time. It was certainly unpredictable. Not so much on the who dunnit, but more so on how it was done. Anyways, the show reminded me more of House, but like a murder mystery version.

Thai Drama - 2019, 13 episodes
How I Met Your Father thai edition. So if you're a fan of food dramas, you'll probably enjoy this for the food alone. There's are two storylines going on. The first is the main storyline with the FL that takes place in the 80s with her trying to become a chef. The other is with her son Shane that takes place during present day. Both stories parallel each other since both mother and son end up being in love with two people they can't choose between. I'll be honest, i was in it more for the food than the romance. Shane kind of annoyed me cuz he was like a two timer. Plus, he appeared shirtless in like every single episode. It became a guessing game. How will they sexually objectify this guy this episode? lol. The mother going back and forth between two guys was annoying too. Like I said, I focused on the food.

152. Venda Sua Casa Mal-Assombrada
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
I love my Supernatural dramas and this one hit the spot, which is actually kind of surprising for a KBS drama. The main casting is such an unlikely pairing, but it somehow works well. Probably cuz the pairing is so odd, I loved it even more, especially the reverse power dynamic. The FL starts out as a badass and REMAINS a badass until the end. Jung Yong Hwa lost his boyish looks after returning from the military. xD Speaking of which, the first two episodes kind of made me uncomfortable because they kept trying to objectify him, but thankfully they put a stop to that. (look, shirtless can be okay, but zooming on his chest like a pervert raises some red flags).

153. Escola Jurídica
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Production wise, it's a solid drama. I wanted to like this. I really did, but there were way too many horrible and toxic people in this drama for me to enjoy it. Also, the last quarter felt underwhelming. It's not unexpected, but what was up with all those randos in the audience/jury that just kept interrupting and talking during a court case? How did they not get kicked out of the court room?

154. The Story of a Noble Family
Chinese Drama - 2003, 40 episodes
The plot seemed juicy, but it's not subbed, so I decided to speed watch it raw. It was not what I was expecting. The synopsis is quite literal, except I don't think the ML cheats on FL that badly. It's a 40 episode drama, she gives birth around ep 35. The fire happens in ep40 where he thinks she is dead. The drama ends with her leaving on a train for somewhere else. The synopsis gave away the entire story. xD I actually liked the ending. He was a jerk and deserved to be abandoned. What a refreshing ending.
I'm not rating it since I didn't watch it properly, but i'd say it's a 6/7 out of 10. -
155. Então Eu me Casei Com a Minha Anti-fã
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
I still ended up enjoying it since it was one of the few light romances that were airing. I had to readjust my expectations in the beginning because I realized they were going for a light fluffy webdrama vibe. That was fine and all. The only thing that really conflicted with this was there was a secondary couple that was in a very emotionally abusive relationship. Classic signs of domestic violence without the physical abuse. "Where would you be without me?" kind of stuff. It ruined the whole vibe of the show. Seeing it once or twice would've been fine, but they repeatedly showed it. But hats off to SML actor. I didn't like SFL, but SML made me genuinely fear for the girl even though I couldn't stand her.

Nope, sorry. Not for me. I couldn't stand FL. Call me heartless, but a person with that much of a delusion problem should either be in a psychiatric hospital or living with a guardian of some sort. Otherwise, she would be a hazard to others around her (which she totally is). She got better after 4 episodes, but I still didn't like her. I'm also blacklisting this actress. I've rated all her dramas low too, except Hwayugi (and that too was rated low for a drama written by my favorite writers).

Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
It's not amazing, but it hit the spot for what I was in the mood for. It was exactly what I was expecting. Basically, it's cliche, cheesy, sweet, fluffy, with 1/4th corny makjang. Also, FL is my girl crush so yeah.

158. Olá, Sr. Gu
Chinese Drama - 2021, 30 episodes
It's a contract engagement, not marriage. I didn't feel the chemistry. The couple took FOREVER to get together and that too only lasted for a couple of episodes until the problems started. Ironically, ML's company is trying to produce an animation that doesn't chase after commercial hype and trends, but this drama does just that. xD It's uber cliche and unoriginal, but I'll share my favorite "original" scene as a spoiler below.

159. Oh! Mestre
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be and as a fan of the forced cohabitation genre, I liked it. I think people went in with high expectations, whereas I went in with low ones. I have a low standard for MBC dramas to begin with. The scifi turn of events was unnecessary, but other than that I think people were just upset about the ending. Tbh, I was expecting this ending all along. They dropped a big hint in the beginning (actually more like spelled it out for you). No one should be surprised.

161. Fly High
Korean Movie - 2009
Okay, watched the right movie this time, but it sucked. I'm not sure what the whole point was. It just felt like a giant waste of time. On the plus side, it's got a young Kim Bum in it, but it's not enough to save the movie.

163. Amor Misterioso
Chinese Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
It's technically not original and has one of those possessive male leads (which can get annoying if you're not into it), but I found it refreshing and I liked it. :) It's nice and short and the chemistry is on fire.

164. Desgraça ao Seu Dispor
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
I think people either hated or loved it. For me, I went in with low expectations due to the depressing nature of the plot. I still ended up enjoying it as a binge watch. But then again, I'm a fan of supernatural dramas to begin with anyway. The plot, unfortunately, was stretched thin and was especially draggy toward the end.
Forget Seo In Guk...I absolutely loved Park Bo Young. She's just soo friggen cute. ♥ I was even digging her outfits. I don't even wear skirts, but I wanted to try out some of those outfits. Also, special shout out to actor who played Kevin. That was one of the best foreigner characters I've seen in awhile because they are usually awfully represented with terrible acting. Last but not least, I loved the soundtrack.Foreign actor that's different ethnicity ✔︎

Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
It's a proper comedy. This show has been my happy pill for the past couple of days and I'm so sad it's over. Also, this girl (Seo Yeon Woo) absolutely stole my heart and the show. Her acting was excellent. She's my new favorite child actress.

167. Oh meu chefe!
Thai Drama - 2021, 14 episodes
It's pretty cliche, which was to be expected. The only reason I'm not giving this a 7 is because it's kinda cringey. Like it was heading into Coffee & Vanilla territory, but not as bad. Although it's a Thai drama, this seemed more like a fusion series that was targeted toward jdrama fans who like cringey romance. However, you've got your classic Thai elements too. Anyways, both Luke and Mook are easy on the eyes, so there's that...I just wish Mook gets a more confident character role next time.

168. Toritsu Mizusho!
Japanese Drama - 2019, 8 episodes
At first, I was like wtf???, but the drama eventually grew on me. I still felt really uncomfortable with some of these topics. For example, they have a class on prostitution...and if you remember this is a high school so it's being taught to a bunch of minors. O_O I get that the school is supposed to represent the reality of the night industry, but that was a little too messed up for me. Other than that, the host and cabaret clubs were interesting.

169. Rato
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
Finally finished. It was OKAY for me. I will say, I absolutely loved that ending and the last couple of episodes. So here's the thing, the first 3/4 was just bad storytelling. It tried to tackle too much at once. They left almost all the revelations toward the end, so unless you made it passed a certain point you were confused af or wanted to drop. It's not like I didn't understand what was going on. I picked up on some of the metaphors early on and appreciate them. But a lot of the plot I was like wtf??? It was just too ridiculous for me.

174. Two Fathers
Taiwanese Drama - 2013, 73 episodes
Took me 4 months, but I finally finished! It's a very heartwarming family drama that was very ahead of its time for Taiwan. It's not a BL, it's about two straight guys co-parenting and the hurdles they face as parents. Lots of food for thought stuff that is very family friendly (you can watch this with kids...though one of the dads is born from an extra marital affair so you might have to explain that). Speaking of kids, the three main kids in the drama were my favorite. My dad and I would really enjoy their scenes the most. This drama is perfect for multitasking while you have it on in the background. You don't need 100% focus like some dramas. You can skip a couple of scenes and can easily catch up.

Japanese Drama - 2021, 10 episodes
It's a cringefest, but I thought it was slightly less cringey than Coffee & Vanilla. FL was a little too dumb/dull for me. I'm being slightly generous with my rating cuz I think it's pretty okay for its genre (cringey, cheesy romance). There's barely a plot. The drama's focus is more on this couple's lustful relationship and FL's insecurities.

178. Taxista
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
I absolutely loved the action and the soundtrack. I loathed the villains, and that's what ultimately ruined my enjoyment of drama. Some of them were the lowest of the low, scum of the earth, beyond evil type of villains. Some cases I could stand like financial fraud, but some cases, like the ones with sex offenders, I could not. (But now I know why sex offenders are considered the lowest among prison social hierarchy). The beginning cases were horrible to digest, but eventually I was able to get into the humor after a couple of cases and laugh. I liked how ML is practically batman, minus the wealth. Revenge is good and all, but I still wasn't satisfied with the outcome of most of the cases. idk.

I just really loved this. I could even bump my rating up to 8.5 for the editing. I was just laughing or smiling throughout. The romance is great. The esports side is still a bit weak, but I enjoyed it.
+ Awesome, blunt FL that's the first to be a female pro esports player (Appledog doesn't count cuz that story mostly takes place post retirement and they changed to sport to robots).
+ So many quotable moments (collecting stamps, furry beast, house full of children) xD
+ THE CATS
+ The editing that made sure to include the cats in b-roll shots. xD
+ Awesome teammates.
+ The OST
+/- So much dRaMa toward the end.
+/- Some stuff definitely got cut out toward the end so at times I was like, 'Did I miss something??'. Nope, they shortened the drama, but I could tell I would've been bored if they had spent time explaining those scenes anyway.
+/- They used actual game characters for animations. Sometimes it was hard to tell who was playing what character, but the animations were cool.

Mainly watched this for Jun. Some parts are weak (some actors are better than others). Can't say it has the best production in the world. It's noticeably low budget. It could be considered meh if you're watching solely for plot, but it's pretty decent if you're into the whole kpop scene. I enjoyed some of the covers and performances.

185. Lágrimas no Paraíso
Chinese Drama - 2021, 41 episodes
First of all, the synopsis is misleading because she does not have a one night stand with anybody (in the drama atleast). The last 1/4th was so draggy and bad that I think I lost some brain cells. I originally had this rated as a 6 and there were definitely some stuff I liked about it in the beginning. The first 1/4th is pretty good and the main cast is pretty decent. However, that second half just SUCKED and it made me forget whatever I liked about this drama. It was just pure uninteresting business and the FL barely had any screen time. Just because you're allotted 40 episodes of airtime does not mean you have to use all of it. -___-

Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
Nothing amazing, but I really enjoyed it. It has multiple of my favorite tropes: contract marriage, cohabitation, a cute kid, cat sound effects (for the kid), and a non dumb FL. I found this FL to be refreshing. I'm not sure if this is dubbed or partially dubbed, but I liked FL's voice in this. Also, the women in this drama were GORGEOUS. Like FL's best friend is so pretty! I think I'm bent. xD The main thing that annoyed me was ML's aunts opposition to their relationship. The reasoning was kind of dumb and so was that whole storyline.
-
189. Revista do Lar do Mês
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
It was surprisingly a lot better than I thought it was going to be. The comedy is above average. It has the typical drop like most dramas have around 11/12 where things kind of get dragging/annoying, but it still has some golden comedy moments during the later episodes. I think most people were disappointed in the ending, but I was okay with it. As a side note, I really loved checking out the properties in each episode. A lot of them were sets used in dramas and it was fun figuring out what other dramas I've seen them it.

ML was so pretty it almost felt like I was watching a GL at times. xD This was pretty wholesome. Loved it for breaking gender norms and talking about acceptance. 191. Amantes Intocáveis
Chinese Drama - 2018, 54 episodes
Thank god. It's finally over. This had such a great cast, with a bunch of my favorite younger generation actors, especially the female cast. You've got Gabrielle Guan, Bai Lu, and Rosy Zhao (Zhao Lu Si). Then from the male side, you've got Xu Kai playing ML's wingman and then the ML played by Song Wei Long (not a favorite of mine, but he's a decent actor). The drama was dubbed so you couldn't even appreciate their voices. The script was so boring. So basically, it's just a giant waste of talent.
Also at one point the story randomly ends and another alternate story begins with similar characters played by the same actors. It gets really confusing because you think it's a continuation, but it's not. The plotting and scheming in this drama was just so dumb. Also, several cast members played dual roles because of twins, doppelgangers, alternate story, etc. It got pretty confusing cuz the narration was awful. The ML was unlikable, so everyone was shipping all other ships except the main one.

Hidden gem. Probably a 7.5 plotwise, but I'm just bumping it up cuz it made me tear up and feel emotional. I found it to be very refreshing. Like I said before, I loved the dynamic of the main couple's relationship. I even found the business part of the drama interesting. The main thing that was annoying was FL's mother, who was a magnet for trouble. It was the source of my stress very early on, but at the end of the day I still loved their mother/daughter relationship. Her ex was also kind of annoying with his pity party problems, but this was pretty easy to ignore.

Just a wholesome sports drama about kids being kids. For the sports part of the drama, it's very solid. For the social part of the drama, there's very little negativity. I just loved the laid back attitude. The plot might be like a 7.5, but I just loved this drama for being so wholesome and carefree.
+ No parent pressure/toxic parents (parents who were against their kids playing became fans really quick).

Was debating about 7.5, but I'm just gonna bump it up to 8. It's a very high production drama. A+ OST, A+ Cast (especially Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung, and Baek Hyun Jin [president]). There was a lot of symbolism and foreshadowing in the script, which I highly appreciated. The direction was good too. The cinematography really caught my attention.
There's a lot of debate and discussion about the law, which some people might find boring (ex. death penalty, corporal punishment). I personally loved it . It's a dystopia so basically anything goes. The only thing that really annoyed me was Ga On...it was kind of a love/hate relationship with him. Things got dull around ep13, but picked back up again for the finale. It's a really well made drama for me.
