Oh gosh already this is so cute. It is fun to watch him experiencing America...Although Route 66 from Chicago to St. Louis should really only take about 6-7 hours...and that includes stops for gas. and driving a little slow. I am anxious to see how long it takes him and if they say!
Thanks Elisabetta ;) ♥

Also, on the DVD one of the extra bits is Yamapi with the camera himself recording random stuff.
Aaaaww, I want to see that. If anybody knows where to find this extra footage, tell me please. I definitely don't have the money to spend on the dvd right now.
OMO! Okay...It was SO COOL when he went through St. Louis! He actually went to two places I love! Broadway Oyster Bar and BB Jazz Blues and Soups!
BB's is where D and I and our friends used to go after every Cardinals game and sometimes just for fun! (I say used to because we just moved to Iowa) But it was so strange and yet so cool to see Yamapi standing in a place I have stood so many times. Wow. LOL
*Edit* Also...It was so cute when he was a little drunk and dancing at the bar, not caring what anyone thought, and just having a good time...enjoying the music. ♥♥♥ He was a little dorky but so so adorable.
I think I might be a little more in love with him now.
Gah! a couple of our MANY pics of BB's!

What I really find fascinating about watching this is not "Oh Hot Yamapi is traveling through America! Isn't he hot?" It is actually his very normal human impressions of our country and what he thought as opposed to what he is discovering. At one point he makes a comment about how he thought America would be more 'cutting edge' and did not realize at all that it wasn't big shiny cities all the way through. He didn't expect or realize how rural our country is; which if you compare it to the size of Japan that makes sense. Japan is all he knows. Watching this part of his discovery of the unknown; his perceptions and perspectives is very interesting.

I agree with you, also it's nice to see how he enjoys a little break from his hectic "idol" schedule (like that he can eat meals on time and eat fast food even without care)and be independant to wash his own car and such.
But Jaeniessi OMO! to think you could've been one of the "local ladies" dancing with him at the bar :D

I know! So close and yet so far! although I tell you truthfully... Knowing who he is (and D knowing who he is by extension) If I would have been there and spotted him???? D would have taken me by the hand and steered me towards the door! LOL
"Okay ...We're leaving now! ...Let's go!" ...and dragged me away... and I would have been all... "but but but! Yamapi! NOOOOOO"

I'm sad now.
Have you guys heard his song Shiver off his second album. I'm currently addicted to it. Its got a sort of rock feel to it
Shiver really is uncommon, I mean who would have thought he can produce such awesome rock voice and sound. If I heard without knowing it before, I wouldn't guess it was his. The man can really suprise me.

ROLF! I'm laughing so hard :D
For me it would be probably the opposite, because I'm not very outgoing person and my man totally is, if I would spot Yamapi and told him who Yamapi is, he would probably make me talk to him :D
not related to what you've said earlier, but another example how Yamapi looks so natural in foreign countries. though it his a CM (sorry it's in french with no english subs). several commercials for ice cream I think, the scenes take place in a market in the south of France.

He is so cute in these CM, and I adore listening to him speaking french.

But he needs a better soundtrack than Nickelback. Just sayin'
xD the nickelback theme they kept playing was stuck in my head for weeks after the show ended. It's cute how he started bouncing to it at one point.
Completely addicted to the song Pi and Shingo wrote for the Monsters drama at the moment, I really hope it ends up as the theme song.
