Newer songs as is 2012 songs?
His new songs from this year are the songs on the single Ai, Texas (I, Texas) and the songs off his new album Ero.
I'm sure if you search Ero on Google you can find download links to the songs. If not, there's always Yamapi's livejournal community. They have everything. Including DL links for Route 66. If you want Route 66 with subs, i think you should look up this special girl called NEWShFan. She's my saviour in the Yamapi and NEWS fandom XD

Elisabetha : thanks for the video, it was quite funny, and I would have had more of that cute (not to say more) Yamapi. He seems rather "shy" in this video, but I think this is closer to his real personnality than the man he is playing while singing. His stage performances, like for other idols, are on "fan service" mode IMO.
I don't remember who said that (sorry), but I too like a lot his song Hadakanbo. Makes me want to dance with him every time i'm listening to it!!!

There was no make up artist, no stylist, no manager. Just him and a few camera people. And maybe someone who could speak fluent English as well... Feels kind of... real.

That's what I noticed too. I like his look in that so much more than the make-up looks actually. I love how natural it looks. :D
Sometimes it feels like they went into a location, quickly took some footage of the "normal" surroundings, then told everyone how to behave and filmed the interactions beween Yamapi and the waiters and waitresses. Because that can't be how they act all the time. xD

I recommend to watch Route 66 ( I've finished it already) it's probably the most real and normal side of him we'll ever get to see (well unless you'll meet him in person - which is totally unlikely for all of us). He's not as reserved as in variety shows, nor in his 'idol' work mode. I think it made me understand him better. And it's so adorable when he enjoys every little thing- like that the people don't bother him, because they don't know him-he's just some Japanese guy on a trip.

I think from their point of view ( I mean the local people) it seemed that someone was doing a documentary on Route 66 (well he was going around with cameramen) so they acted along - like explaining what he has ordered and such, or coming over to him to promote something or themselves (like the guy from parade), but I don't think it was directed on spot and nobody perceived him as a star - well, he didn't look like one, as it was cute how all those people approached him, as he was a lost and 'dear' boy, he definitely didn't act as a pro reporter . The documentary was only 6 hours altogether(and the trip was like 12 days or so), so a lot of the interactions have been cut ( like all the translator's work during interviews or explaining to people around what they are filming), they didn't catch on camera how did he meet those 2 riders as well.Most of it was probably driving and eating hamburgers anyway ^_^
I wonder about all his talking inside the car, if there was someone with him or did he just did a vlog to that camera that was attached inside, well maybe he did both.
And the interview that Lily did with him really cracks me up :)

I think there was someone else in the car. Because that long drive by himself would have been super boring.
Also, on the DVD one of the extra bits is Yamapi with the camera himself recording random stuff.
