Not really "like " him but i haven't seen him outside of lyf. Saw on wb that his character looked good in there so i wanted to find out.

I saw joseph in a clip with some tvb actors in a varietyshow or some sort. I didnt know  he acted with them. He has another drama with Lulu right?

Same I didn’t either until now when watching this drama.

This drama Line Walker. Other actors if not mistaken they praised him.  Yes with BaiLu but not out yet. That too I was going to watch but heard only released next year.

LYF!! Hahahhaha...the ending is pretty subjective I guess...BE for the snake fans and HE for the fox fans. LOL It was quite the drama, causing such crazy fan wars. But glad that the level headed folks from TTEOTM did not get drawn into that nasty business of actor and character bashing.

ChunTian. To me, LYF has a bittersweet ending because Xiao Yao ends up with the fox. But the latter lost all his tails after surviving the killing attempt. So he will soon die. I heard that in the novel, he had 100 years left to live.

I asked that to the LYF book scholars too during the airing. They have clarified that it is not true that Jing will die in 100 years. I think that misconception might have come about because during the YaoJing reunion, Jing's servants said foxy was dying. True, at that point in time because XiaoYao was not in his life. But since she came back into his life, she began to fix him up and even making an emergency life saving pill for him. More like he should recover after 100 years. ᕙ(  •̀ ᗜ •́  )ᕗ

The LYF book scholars, also shared that in this story Jing's tails were a reflection of his power, like 9 bars of power. So each time Hou wounded him badly, one bar of power down. Sounds like a computer game, no? LOL Jing will get back his tails once he has fully healed.

The snake's death is what I classify as a beautiful tragic death which I accept was part of his destiny. I too wished he had a happier outcome, after such a difficult life. But from the start, it seemed to me the rebel's war was his top priority. He died doing what he strongly believed in and sacrificing (2 lives) for the love of his life. To me the snake's story is complete. ⎧ᴿᴵᴾ⎫

I am on the camp that wishes XiaoYao married them both. \(^ヮ^)/ HAHHAHAHAHA. There are villages / tribes in rural China that still practice this today. One woman with many husbands. Why not right? If the men can have many wives, why can't the women have many husbands in the dramas? Then everyone will get their happy ever after in LYF. But then, this drama will not be able to be made/air. CENSORED! LOL This would be fun in a fanfic though. What a story it will be.  (≧ᗜ≦)

Need to introduce our munchkins to Asian culture.

I am sure you cook Asian sometimes for them to eat. I imagine they would be well adapted with high spice tolerance. Go go babies!!!

Thank you ChunTian for making way to the truth.

In this case, this is a better ending that I thought.

Yes I liked Xan Liu but he was burdenned with the lives of a faction. He would have not withdrawn.

They don't mind non spicy food and actually seems to love some asian dishes. But if it's spicy they will spit it out and then let out a never ending wail like we're bloddy mudering them. So I don't make them spicy anymore. Lessons learned and all that. Left with a raging headaches. So no spice tolerance yet. Maybe when they get older a bit they will enjoy asian food. Asian noodles, dumplings, pastry, sweets, etc they enjoyed but not spicy food though.

 Joa:
ChunTian! U are back!

Im only going in the first 2 weeks of dec so i will be here for another month.

Yes, mostly recovered. Still not 100% but on the way there. But I think after the whole episode and taking strong medications, I find myself easily sick, I picked up a flu bug at my follow up at the doctor's. Urgh....

Nice! Bring us with you. Where will you be snowboarding? There should be ski resorts in Beijing too? Dang! I must plan for China next year.

 Joa:
The rise of ning im taking it slow too. I have about 4 or 5 episodes unwatched and it's not making me binge.

I am only on EP 13. I remember the actress Ren Min got a lot of flak when she acted with Xiao Zhan in The Longest Promise for her appearance and acting. Maybe she will do better in modern drama because some folks don't have that costume "aura" about them and do not "feel right" in a costume drama. Her make up is better done here than TLP I think.

Xixi is one of those who looks and feels right in both modern and costume dramas. Same for Lulu and even Weiwei. Our TTEOTM alumni! Go go beautiful people. LOL

Regarding Ren Mi's voice, it does not bother me too much, but she does sound like a cute hamster speaking rather than a strong independent girl. LOL Overall, story is still doable for me and I am expecting a HE for Gege.

Wow...you are training them well! They will be munching chillies before they graduate kindergarten.  Imagine "fire spewing" bunnies along side the dragons after they eat spice. Too cute! LOL But yeah, I can imagine their cries to be ear busting!!

1 baby Moonie x 3

5 baby Moonies = 3 x 5 = 15x noise level

You and your hubby's poor ears! LOL This is something you will remind them of when they get older.  LOL

Oh no. Take more vit C if u haven't .  It really helps fight sickness.

Haha I'll post pictures if i can. Im going to club med in jilin, up north of beijing.

I really couldn't stand rms character in tlp but shes fine here.  Her voice is sweet but needs more polish for period drama like u said. I watched 21 to 23 today and i fast forwarded half the time. Its starting to get draggy.. they need to pick up the pace. I cant feel any cp when she calls him 3rd bro all day.

Im also hoping to see ZWY with a new image cos he looks the same in lyf, the drama with wang chu ran and tron.

Definitely poor ears indeed! Every time they wail both of us are like no please stop and feeling helpless and want to either hide or run! So gonna have to remind them when they get older! And also don't you think it's  nice material for guilt trip? Hehehe

 Evie Zan:

According to synopsis of the drama & chat. I assume it's SE. So not gonna watch it. Don't have much time to check carefully anyway as I'm so busy with our toddlers(triplets) & month old twins. Just need to choose. I'm bearly catching up with one drama, so no time to check novel either. If it's HE, do you mind kindly let me know? I'll watch watch it then.

The express package is dropped. "snowy night : timeless love"  has a sad ending according to viewers in the forum. But I will be sure once  I watch it myself. People are used to say that TTEOTM has a sad ending too.  I know that, it is more of a open-happy ending.

Thanks for the Vit C reminder. I should have a whole bunch in the drawer but totally forgotten about it. LOL

Looking forward to your China & Japan posts! Have you started packing? Or are you the kind who packs the night before? LOL

Btw, did you catch the movie "Creation of the Gods"? The Marquis Lu actor from RON is in that one together with our TTEOTM alumni Eddy Geng.  The Marquis was acting as Yang Jian in that movie. I am looking forward to part 2 of this trilogy. Eye candy galore. *Drools* LOL

Creation of the Gods movie Trivia: The girl who acted as the vixen Daji in that movie is a Mandarin speaking Russian/Mongolian babe. Gorgeous gal. Might be Weiwei's country woman if her parent is from inner Mongolia as well. She totally suits the role. In an interview, the directors / producers said they were not too impressed when they first met her because she came across quite introvert and they wondered if she could do it. But looks like everything worked out in the end.
