This second season takes place 50 years prior to the events of the first one. Jing Tian is a happy go lucky, mischievous, and with a hunger for money young man. He gets a hold of a magical jade which forces him to meet the Tang's Xue Jian, a saucy young woman. They also meet Xu Chang Qing who is a senior disciple of the Mt. Shu Sect. All three have to overcome numerous obstacles, which includes confronting their pasts, along the way of an epic fantasy adventure.
