Recommend me some twisted anime series

As the title says, I'd like to watch a few more twisted, strange, anime series. Just finished Gantz and I remained with a thirst for more. I don't mind horror, gore or mature situations. I also like problematic/emotional relationships.

Not a fan of yuri, yaoi, gender bender or harem so I'll be happy if you wouldn't recommend series in those categories.

Other "twisted" animes that I've seen : Elfen Lied, Highschool of the dead, Kimi ga nozomu ein, Paranoia Agent, Serial Experiment Lain and of course Gantz.

From that list I've seen only Darker than Black. Dunno about Kuroshitsuji but I'll definitely check the other series.

The series seem interesting, I'll download them. I've seen the first episodes from Death Note and I liked it, I can't remember why I didn't finish it though.

It's more on the emotional side, I liked the guilty part of it. You might like it or not, it depends.

I've seen Cossette, didn't really impress me.

I loved Darker than Black but I haven't watched enough anime to say how twisted it was

Oh, it was twisted alright, but didn't have the gore you see in the series these days.
