WE ARE AWESOME!

If you are aware of the concept of PERSONALITY CLASH, it can happen to a person that is different or very alike. According to a forum a user called ducklucky1, it can be two stubborn people, two indecisive, two passives, two angry, two egoists, two disorganized, it goes on and on. Like people sometimes have more conflict than unlikes as they are mirror images of themselves.

Those crazy personalities gave more flavor to the relationship, and it's exciting to see the build-up of their chemistry by resolving differences as well as putting the puzzle together about why they are meant to each other.

Whether it may occur to lovers, friends, or the couple that we wanted to ship, even if it sunk at the end or gave us an open ending, it is still enjoyable and worth cheering for.

This is my list of unforgettable tandem! Enjoy!

Can be read in dark and light mode.

The Tsundere Couple

Jae Yeol (Jo In Sung) is a famous mystery novel, and Hae Soo (Gong Hyo Jin), as an independent psychiatrist, bump into each other's lives in unexpected circumstances. Both have strong personalities and do not back down on their own opinion that results in never-ending banter. This is what happens when two tsundere clash.

But somehow, it has a positive impact on their relationship, reminding each other not to be self-centered. He doesn't let her get away with her nasty attitude. Instead, he reminds her of boundaries, and they talk things through.

The Repulsive Temper Handler

Natsui Makoto (Ishihara Satomi) is a lively, humble, and positive girl, while Hyuga Toru (Oguri Shun) is arrogant, selfish, controlling, and do not hesitate to say your not-so-good capabilities. As much as I love Oguri Shun, if he was my boss, I would actually quit and punch him in the face. Thanks to Natsui's long patience, she somehow manages to handle Tohru's personality, and little by little, she leads him to be more considerate towards others.

Why I love this drama so much is because it is not your typical heroin that changes completely for their partner. It's all about acceptance and compromise.

The Two Side Of A Coin Couple

The tandem of Kim Sang Min (Sung Hoon) and Lee Yeon Tae (Shin Hae Soon) was one of the most compatible contrast-personalities in drama land. They were really meant to be with each other. Sang Min, as a successful golfer and model, an overwhelming self-assured guy with oozes of confidence, was destined to meet a shy and reserved elementary teacher. Surprisingly, it helps each other to develop their character to be more mature and open to show their love to each other.

They push each other to go out of their comfort zone. Trusting each other and learning new things is what makes this couple a perfect match.

A Subtle Friendship

Yep! I ship them so badly. Lee Eun Jung (Jeon Yeo Bin), a documentary director, is calm, brave, and does what she loves, whatever the outcome. Sometimes you will think that she's crazy about what she decides to do differently than what a normal person would do. While Kim Sang Soo (Son Seok Koo) is a scary commercial director that has a habit of shouting at other people, but outside the job, he is sweet, compassionate, and has a good view of life.

Somehow, they click with each other, maybe because they are free-spirited people. They can strike a good conversation about their view of life, helping each other to push forward in life. They can be each other's sunshine in their gray and gloomy life.

The Pen x Paper Couple

If you believe in soulmates, Im Sung Min (Son Seung Won) and Ji Won (Park Eun Bin) are some of the great examples of that. They are irreplaceable to each other. Ji Won is playful, weird, and flashy, while Sung Min is a serious, straightforward, and somehow reserved guy.

They are like a Day and NightSalt and Pepper or Peanut butter and Jam.

He handles her when she is out of boundaries, and he really knows when Ji Won is serious and needs help.  Whether it's friendship or lovers, they are GOALS. A friendship that doesn't tolerate wrongdoings, is supportive and guarantees a fun day with the unpredictable Ji Won.

It's a relationship that most of us want to have in this life.

"She had found someone who matched her, a warrior and a shield. A man she could respect, one she could argue with and enjoy. She hadn't wanted to lose that. Hadn't wanted to be alone again."

I love that I don't have a concrete answer to why you are at my side.

 I like it that way.

 Mysterious and doesn't make sense.
