Seo In Guk received the offer to lead a new superhero K-drama alongside Ji Chang Wook and Ma Dong Seok.
On September 5, media outlets reported that Seo In Guk will be added to the main leads of the upcoming action fantasy K-drama Twelve.
Seo In Guk's agency Story J Company shared their response regarding the casting news. According to them, "Seo In Guk received the offer to star in Twelve and he is currently reviewing it."
Twelve will tell the story of heroes who represent the 12 zodiac signs who are struggling to protect the Korean Peninsula from evil spirits.
Seo In Guk got the offer to portray the role of a superhero representing the zodiac monkey.
The upcoming K-drama will be produced by Big Punch Pictures, Novafilm, and Content G.
According to reports, the superhero series aims to be released in 2025.
If Seo In Guk confirms his casting, this will be his reunion project with Ma Dong Seok. The two worked previously in the 2016 K-drama 38 Task Force.
This K-drama will also possibly be the fourth upcoming series of the actor. Seo In Guk will also star in the new K-dramas Literalism, In Your Brilliant Season, and Smoking Gun.
This year, the singer-actor starred in the TVING series Death's Game Part 2. He also returned to singing and released a single album.
Seo In Guk has starred in several K-dramas with different genres. This will be his first time to star in a superhero-themed K-drama.
