E-sports is a term used to describe competitive video gaming. It's different from standard video gaming in that e-sports is competitive and usually has an engaging spectator element to it. This drama has received hate even before it started airing because of the tag "E-sports". It was said that most of the haters were gamers who were not satisfied with the plotline this drama holds and said it is not how e-sports is in reality. They stated e-sports is different from what was expressed in the drama and they were unsatisfied.

The chemistry between Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao was unexpectedly good, it was highly praised by the viewers and a demand for a season 2 has been going on everywhere on the internet now. Although the official statement for season 2 has not been released yet it is greatly expected in the near future. And obviously, the sweet scenes portrayed by the characters were undeniably beautiful. Also, the second couple was sweet and cute.

Let's just say the teammates teasing of Lu Si Cheng and Tong Yao was really funny, it was one of the things that I always looked forward to every episode, and let's say I was not at all disappointed! Lu Si Cheng teasing Tong Yao, those scenes are too sweet and funny at the same time. He is just hard on the outside but a softie on the inside for Tong Yao! The way Xiao Pang caught them in almost every act when they were being lovey-dovey. The way Lao K understands everything and teases them with funny songs and indirect quotes. The way Lao Mao does not understand what on earth is wrong with his teammates...
It was a hilarious watch!

Tong Yao character
Tong Yao is such a fascinating character. She is able to bring up a convincing argument of how youth should follow their heart in choosing their career and should not follow what other people say. She did so herself and was successful. She is not afraid to speak her mind; it makes her character bolder and responsible. She was scolded by many on the internet when she started dating Chessman, and she was involved in a fight with the program host and also was banned from a game, that time she faced her real self and spoke her mind in the live stream. She also went unaffected by the negative comments and hate she was getting and decided to snap back at them. |  |
Lu Si Cheng's undiscovered jealousy
 | When he saw her for the first time, she was having an argument with Jian Yang (CK's captain, ZGDX's rival, and Tong Yao's ex). And later on, he kept seeing her with many other team members (DQ.FIVE's Xu Tai Lun, YQBC's Ai Jia, FNC's Kun, KING's Guang) talking to them for various reasons. Lu Si Cheng taunted Tong Yao, saying, "Do you take it as collecting stamps?" where jealousy was clearly visible to the viewers. |
The number of good looking boys in this drama
The several good-looking boys in this drama were also able to successfully attract viewers. Xu Kai, Zhai Xiao Wen, Zhou Yi Ran, Yao Chi, Gao Han, Yalkun Merxat, Kevin Xiao, Sun Kai, DiDi, Wang Yi Jun... and a lot more. Some originally watched for the actors and later fell for the drama. This is the lineup I would sell my soul to see again.

Last but not least, their teamwork and victory
Their struggle and hard work to win the National Championship was really appreciable. And once they also had a slight misunderstanding regarding Lu Si Cheng changing Ming's strategies which resulted in the team losing a game in the championship. The way they reconciled and the emotions hurled towards the viewers were successful in making most of the viewers cry. Also, the way they encourage each other during a hard time was something to die for. |  |

 | ZGDXZGDX is a team led by Chessman (Lu Si Cheng). Chessman was in the South Korean Team TAT before he joined ZGDX. Smiling (Tong Yao) joined the group because of an injury of another member and she played as the Mid Solo for the team. Other members are Lu Yue (substitute for Smiling), Lao K (jungler), Xiao Pang and Lao Mao (support). The team has a manager, Xiao Rui. The old injured member, Ming God now is the coach of the team. There is a strong friendship between the team members. They were the biggest rival to CK and YQBC. |
CKCK is a team led by Sunflower. Sunflower is also the ex-boyfriend of ZGDX's Smiling. Their team includes Floret, Butterfly, Luck, and Wang. They are the biggest rival to YQBC and ZGDX. | |
YQBCYQBC is a team led by Hierophant. Hierophant is the old teammate of ZGDX's Chessman, they used to play together in TAT. But later they parted ways as Chessman wanted to play for his country. YQBC consists of XBANG, Aico, RONG, Student in their team. They were the biggest rival to CK and ZGDX. |
