New Action K-Drama "Player Season 2" Confirms Release Date

tvN's upcoming action thriller Player Season 2: Master of Swindlers has confirmed its release date for June 3. 

Player Season 2: Master of Swindlers is a drama of scammers, hackers, fighters, and drivers, joining forces to rob the rich of the dirty money they illegally collected. 

The K-drama is a sequel to Player (2018). Starring in this thriller are Song Seung Heon, Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Si Eon, Jang Gyu Ri, and Tae Won Seok among others.  

Song Seung Heon takes on the role of Kang Ha Ri, an elite scammer, the leader of the players, and the mastermind behind the operations. He becomes even more meticulous and daring in "playing" the evil ones who fill their pockets with money earned at the cost of someone's blood and tears. 

Oh Yeon Seo plays Jung Soo Min, a mysterious ally. Soo Min is a woman with a commanding presence who gathers the players and a strategic planner as meticulous as Kang Ha Ri. 

Lee Si Eon returns as Im Byung Min, the ultimate hacker who can seize control of all computer networks in the world as long as he has a computer in hand. He may seem timid and lighthearted, but he is a character with a unique sense of humor and wit. 

Tae Won Seok portrays Do Jin Woong, the team's fighter.

Jang Gyu Ri portrays Cha Jae Yi, a skilled driver and a newcomer to the team. Though she may seem tough on the outside, she is soft on the inside.

Player Season 2: Master of Swindlers premieres on June 3. More news about the K-drama's OTT streaming service is yet to come.
