tvN has released a new teaser of the upcoming action-fantasy K-drama Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938, and the new teaser gave us the scene we all have been waiting for - the reunion of the gumiho brothers.

The trailer commences with Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) standing in the middle of chaos with a gun in his hand and a car burning in the background. The scene then shifts to Lee Rang (Kim Bum), who is about to light his cigarette, but the firing of a bullet - which almost misses his face - renders it useless. Lee Rang asks, "Hyung (brother), you aren't dead yet?".

The following scenes show Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) affectionately hugging his brother for meeting him again in the past, and Lee Rang (Kim Bum) also gets emotional and sheds a tear after meeting his elder brother, who he thought would never meet again.

If season 1 showed us the gumiho brothers pulling each other's legs and squabbling against one other in typical sibling manner, it seems like season 2 will portray their affection for each other and the strong bond they share.

Lee Rang is a half-blooded gumiho whose mother was a human while his father was a nine-tailed fox. He isn't very fond of his elder brother Lee Yeon, who left him alone on a mountain when Lee Yeon's lover Ah Eum (Jo Bo Ah) died. Following that, he stepped down from his status of a mountain spirit - sowing a deep grudge in his younger brother's heart. As a result, Lee Rang (Kim Bum) often causes mischief, which gets Lee Yeon in trouble. Season 1 portrayed the bitter relationship the brothers share, but we seldom got to see them caring for one another and helping each other out. And judging by the newly released teasers of season 2, it looks like we will get to see brimming bromance and brotherly affection between the gumihos.
