CLC's Kwon Eun Bin joins the cast of Bae In Hyuk and Kim Ji Eun's upcoming Channel A K-drama
Kang Hoon, Park Ju Hyun, and Park Yong Woo are the confirmed main leads of the newest mystery thriller K-drama from JTBC.
On December 18, it was officially confirmed that Kang Hoon, Park Ju Hyun, and Park Yong Woo will lead the upcoming K-drama Hunter with a Scalpel. It was also revealed that the series will premiere in 2025 and will be released through broadcast channel JTBC.
Hunter with a Scalpel will follow the story of a forensic pathologist with antisocial personality disorder. While performing an autopsy of a dead body, she discovers traces of his father's murder. She will then try to catch her father first before the police so that she can conceal her dark past. The story will be depicted from the novel of the same name by Choi Yi Do.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Lee Jung Hoon ( Shh, Please Take Care of Him, Miss Ma, Nemesis, and Longing Heart) and writers Cho Han Young, Park Hyun Shin, Hong Yeon I, and Jin Se Hyuk.
Hunter with a Scalpel will premiere on JTBC and the streaming platform U+ Mobile TV and have 16 episodes in total.
Park Ju Hyun will portray the role of Seo Se Hyun, a forensic pathologist with antisocial personality disorder. While hunting for her serial killer father, she must confront the dark past she wishes to forget, as well as the threats to her life and reputation.
Park Yong Woo will give life to the role of Yoon Jo Hyun. He is a psychopath serial killer who enjoys dissecting the human body.
Lastly, Kang Hoon will portray the role of Jeong Jung Hyun, the head of the violent crime team. He will get entangled with Seo Su Hyun while investigating a murder case.
