IVE Jang Won Young's Sister Jang Da Ah to Make Her Official K-Drama Debut with "Pyramid Game”

Rookie star Jang Da Ah is confirmed to star in the upcoming TVING K-drama Pyramid Game.

On May 25, media outlet Daily Sports shared that IVE Jang Won Young's sister Jang Da Ah will make her full-fledged debut as an actress through the webtoon-based K-drama Pyramid Game.

Pyramid Game will tell the happenings at Sarang High School. Once a month, the students cast their votes in a popularity vote. The result of the voting becomes the social hierarchy of the school. If they receive an F grade, they become the victims of school violence. The story will be based on a webtoon of the same name. 

WJSN's Bona will reportedly lead the K-drama. Jang Da Ah, which is the new labelmate of Bona will also reportedly join the series and will play the role of Baek Ha Rin. 

Baek Ha Rin is known for always having the highest grades. She is also the only person who always gets an A grade in the popularity voting. She seems friendly on the outside, but she has a different personality. 

Pyramid Game will have a total of 10 episodes and it will exclusively premiere on TVING. According to reports, the K-drama will air this year.

Last month, it was officially announced that Jang Da Ah has signed with the agency King Kong by Starship, the same agency as her younger sister Jang Won Young. There were no details on what she will pursue as a celebrity. With today's report, it was officially confirmed that Jang Da Ah had been preparing for her acting career. 

Aside from being an actress, Jang Da Ah is also active as an advertisement model. Last month, she starred in the contact lens advertisement.

Jang Da Ah will be joining the long list of King Kong by Starship actors such as Song Seung Heon, Lee Kwang Soo, Lee Dong Wook, Yoo Yeon Seok, Kim Bum, Ryu Hye Young, Jeon So Min, and more.
