Hwang Bo Ra is in talks to join the upcoming tvN drama "Ilta Scandal."
On August 25th, media outlet SPOTV News shared that Hwang Bo Ra will be joining the cast of the upcoming romantic comedy drama "Ilta Scandal." This will be her last drama before she ties the knot with her longtime boyfriend.
"Ilta Scandal" will showcase the romance between a famous private education instructor and a new employee at the institution. The two have different personalities as the instructor is sensitive and prickly while the new employee has a positive personality.
The series will be directed by Yoo Je Won ("Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha") and writer Yang Hee Seung ("Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo"). This will be their next work together after "Oh My Ghost" and "High School King of Savvy."
"Ilta Scandal" will be led by Jung Kyung Ho, Jeon Do Yeon, Roh Yoon Seo, Shin Jae Ha, and Lee Bong Ryun.
Hwang Bo Ra got the offer to play the role of a parent whose struggling at a private education institution.
"Ilta Scandal" will premiere in the first half of next year.
If Hwang Bo Ra confirms her casting, this will be her last drama project as a single woman. The series will be filmed before her marriage.
For this year, Hwang Bo Ra already appeared in four dramas. She was part of the cast of the series "Kiss Sixth Sense" and "Miracle." She also made a special appearance in the dramas "The Secret House" and "A Business Proposal."
The actress is set to marry her longtime boyfriend, actor, and CEO Kim Young Hoon this coming November.
