Oh Ye Ju confirmed to join Ji Chang Wook and Jo Woo Jin's upcoming K-drama "Gangnam B-Side"
GOT7's Park Jin Young will possibly star in a romance K-drama after he finishes his military duties.
On September 26, media outlets reported that Park Jin Young will be Park Bo Young's co-star in the upcoming K-drama titled Unknown Seoul. The K-drama was first offered to the actress last July and she is reviewing the proposal.
Park Jin Young's agency BH Entertainment shared their official stance regarding the circulating casting reports. According to the agency, "Park Jin Young received the offer to lead the series and he is positively considering it."
If Park Jin Young decides to join the K-drama, this will be his second upcoming K-drama project. The GOT7 member started his military service in May of last year. He is scheduled to be discharged on November.
Park Jin Young is also set to lead the upcoming webtoon based K-drama The Witch with Roh Jeong Eui, Lim Jae Hyeok, Jang Hee Ryung, Jang Hye Jin, and Kwon Han Sol.
Aside from K-dramas, Park Jin Young will also appear in the upcoming film High Five led by Yoo Ah In, Ra Mi Ran, Ahn Jae Hong, Lee Jae In, Kim Hee Won, and Oh Jung Se.
Unknown Seoul will center around twin sisters who live separately. One of the twins who studies hard is in Seoul while the other is in the countryside. One day, the two decided to exchange identities because of an incident.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Park Shin Woo (Lovestruck in the City, It's Okay to Not Be Okay, and Hyde, Jekyll, Me) and writer Lee Kang (Youth of May).
Park Bo Youg got the offer to portray the role of the twin sisters who live different lives.
Meanwhile, Park Jin Young was offered to portray the role of the male lead named Ho Su who has been in a relationship with one of the twins since high school.
The broadcast channel and the airing date of Unknown Seoul is still unconfirmed.
