In both plays the main actor has fantastic medical capabilities and most of the scenes are shot in the hospital makes it even more interesting for the fact that patients arrive with wounds and that doctors must treat them and they are always the challenge of who is the best surgeon of the hospital, the SOUNDTRACKS are too cool. Just watch both of these dramas are very nice
There are secrets revealed. Both male leads are doctors with talent. They are both a little angsty. There are people that dislike the male lead.
I think the characters come from a little bit similar places. Both of them closing of their hearts after having their fair shares of bad past. Doctor stranger has more action aspects to it I guess. Both of the series take places in the hospital.
Both are medical dramas in which the main character is a genius surgeon and treats gangsters to earn more money
While doctor stranger is about a north korean defector and his love interest, yong pal focuses on the difference between rich and poor and intrigue.

Both are medical dramas in which the main character is a mysterious surgeon who has unconventional ideas about doctors.
Both have a bit action but focus on surgery etc.
While doctor stranger also focuses on the main characters love interest, romantic doctor focuses on ethics and interactions of the characters.

Similar ethical topics are addressed, with similar situations playing out in the hospital settings. There are significant differences in the plot outside of the hospitals, but the tone/atmosphere and the types of issues addressed in both dramas are similar.
They're both thrilling and have a hero who loves the heroine, played by JSY in both, wholeheartedly. The hero is involved in plots with national implications in both dramas. Bridal Mask has the much better script though.
Both series try to point out what it makes to be a "Good Doctor". As someone who cares about their patients, both series follow similar themes. So if you are looking for series with similar topic and environment, these are it.
These dramas just give me the same vibe. Both of the male leads have a mysterious past that continues to haunt them. Both dramas have political maneuvering in which the male leads are used as pawns in plays for power. And SADLY both dramas have female leads that have like ZERO personality, are REALLY annoying and basically sabotage a drama that could have been a lot better with a competent, likeable female lead.
