I wanted to like this drama so bad because I love Yeo Jin Goo and Moon Gayoung but man.......... finishing this was actual work. This feels like a very messy combination of fun romcom and thriller. I enjoyed the first few episodes but felt that it started to really get boring around halfway. What I liked:
- the relationship between Dahyun, her mom, and grandmother. It was very sweet and it was obvious that they cared for each other. This was probably the highlight of the show for me.
- restaurant and food scenes. I thought these were fun! I wish there had been more focus on the restaurant opening process.
- acting. Actors worked with what they had and I enjoyed it.
What I did not like:
- the mystery. I have to be honest, by the end of the show I did not care what happened to Gyeyoung and I wish I had skipped all those scenes. I did not find it intriguing at all and to me it was obvious she was dead. Lots of buildup by setting up everyone in the neighbourhood just for it to be some random guy was not great. Also very little explanation on what aside from kidnapping and death. I do not think that everything has to be explained in a show like this but we were given so little.
- I felt that the Link was underused and just kind of pointless?
- whatever was going on with the two police officers??? weirdly shoehorned in and a waste of screen time.

Most Ulike Parts and Overall
This series is SO good! It's what I like in a Kdrama. Mystery/thriller, light on romance but still heart throbbing and has an AMAZING storyline! The cast and acting are fantastic, not giving too much or too little. It's just right to make it more captivating to watch. I don't pay much attention to the OSTs as I constantly keep my eyes on the screen, but I know it always sets the mood for the variety of scenes that an OST would be playing. All in all, it's still a great series with excellent cinematography that captures action-filled scenes accurately and gets your adrenaline flowing. Most unliked Parts :
1) why Gye young was killed . if he was a serial killer then why he stoped killing afterwards. and only killed those related to the girl.
2) Gye youung was killed before her father was killed by him so why he put his father on the same place where he killed her.
3) No information on whether he was a psychopath, a rapist or a human trafficker. Nothing, nada. All is left at the imagination of the viewers.

Link started off with an interesting premise and did not deliver on any front. The main issue with this show is that it had no business being 16 episodes. If it had been 10 or 12 the pacing wouldn’t have been so off. The main mystery was dragged out to the point that I didn’t even care by the end. The show somewhat held my attention until about episode 10/11 and then it just really fell apart and I struggled to even finish it. The main part of the show that I was interested in was the link between the two lead characters. Feeling each other’s emotions was something that sounded unique and it could have been really cool. I don’t need big drawn out explanations about supernatural elements, but the whole link plot line was so poorly done. In the beginning it was kind of funny and sweet, and then towards the middle it felt like it was barely even a plot point anymore with no reason given. The fact that the female lead did not know what was happening despite him explicitly telling her, her feeling his emotions, and him knowing things about her that would have been impossible to know was so irritating. The way this plot device was used to allow the male lead to continue to find her when she was in trouble was cute though.
I cannot imagine a woman with a violent stalker on the loose acting anything like Dahyun and it felt so unrealistic that it was hard to watch. Episode after episode it felt like all she did was wander down deserted alleyways alone at night. The stalker plot also just abruptly ended with almost no resolution.
I normally love a small town show with kooky characters but almost every single person in this show was a horrible person, which would have been fine except the show tried to make them all sympathetic and give them happy endings. I’m sorry but a man who leaves an injured small child alone at night while she is crying, begging for help, and saying that she’s scared and being chased, simply because he’s too tired is supposed to deserve a happy ending? I don’t even know what the show was trying to say by vindicating all of these terrible characters.
There were elements of the show that I enjoyed, primarily the relationships between Dahyun, her mom, and her grandma. Their dynamic was a lot of fun to watch, especially the way they tried to protect her from stalker by constantly carrying around bats, rolling pins, and hammers. There were elements of the romance that were cute and the leads did have some chemistry, but there were so many breakups and back and forth that it really lost its appeal by the end. There were some pretty scary scenes with the stalker that had me on the edge of my seat. The very beginning of the show when Dahyun is realizing that she is being stalked was also very creepy but interesting. Overall kind of a letdown and not something I’d recommend unless you are fast forwarding through a lot of the scenes.

Not bad but its not that great
As I have given the title for this review, I feel the same about all the aspects of this drama. Story, characters, music overall is good but it could have been much better given that the drama has great casting and great premise.I have to agree that the drama lives upto its name, we have "eat, love and kill" well connected to each other with the supernatural phenomenon between male lead and female lead. 2 episodes into the drama and and we have the whole setup. Neighborhood where everyone is very suspicious regarding past and present events. Each characters are introduced very carefully and every character is a piece in the puzzle of knowing what happened in the past and what is happening in the present timing.
So with this great setup I did enjoy the overall thriller, romance and the dark comedy tone of the drama. My only problem is after 10th episode story becomes draggy and things become repetitive. They will spend the whole episode to reveal only one thing about the mystery and it is not a big reveal as we can pretty much guess it watching the episode. Female lead and Male lead do look great together and their acting is great but somehow their romance feels more scripted. Honestly at the end I was just there to see the end and literally did not care about whether they really end up together or not. Similarly the side characters are also great but the interactions between characters does not have that charm.
I would like to mention that we do have exception where the side characters do shine. I loved the Grandmother, mother, daughter trio . The bickering at the breakfast table where the conversation varies from food, nagging related to job hunting to the problems related to murder is hilarious. I enjoyed every scene between these 3 women. The emotions, comedy, fears and the unconditional love they have for each other really stands in each scene thanks to great acting. Also we are in for a good surprise at the end regarding grandmother and mother apart from all the other mystery. Did not see that coming.
All and all it is a good one time watch drama.

It was a nice show, but I don't think I'd watch it again.
I really liked the chemistry between the main couple, and all the scenes with Da Hyun bickering with her mom and grandma were a riot, but I feel like this story had a lot of dead space. I often found myself getting bored or distracted. The pauses were too long, the scenes sometimes dragged out. I'm a huge fan of letting a story breathe, and let viewers soak the emotions in (which this show had no shortage of), but I think they took it too far. Towards the end, around episode 11 or 12, I really lost interest because I felt like the events had gotten repetitive. But I'll admit the last two episodes managed to leave me with a positive impression. At the end of the day, the acting was fantastic all around, the OST was lovely and I even found myself invested in the secondary couple, which at the beginning I couldn't care less about. So, if you don't mind slow, draggy plots, I think this drama is worth giving a shot to.

Lots of Emotions and Mystery
This show was actually really good, and it's a good watch if you are into thriller and suspense. This was probably the first show I have ever watched where I felt every single emotion possible. This show made me laugh, cry, and angry at times. There were also some scenes that scared me because of the suspense. The saddest part in this show for me was the fact that so many people could have saved the ML's twin sister, but they chose not to. I would not rewatch this show, but I definitely do not regret watching it.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

The story and acting are great
This is worth to watch. Didn't expect this plot twist. The story is about the children are just victims of the adults during that time. This drama kinda thrilling and sus but make it cute and funny. I also love their friendship.Aaand now we go into yet another week where I have to wait for the next episode of link. this drama is seriously too good, every episode has me hooked and I can't praise it enough honestly.
Link Ep.8 was really a rollercoaster I am shocked ، also the last scene got me really emotional how they all returned to their childhood , something happened to all of them ? so many theories in my head but I'll wait and see .

feeling while watching
excited - boring - a little excited - boring - excitedAt the first episode I was really interested in knowing how they connected and had a little high hopes for the story. But, in the middle of the episode I feel bored because the story feels forced to be long. Towards the end of the story then this drama feels exciting again. I think this drama is too focused on the main story and does not develop side stories to make this drama more exciting, and the locations are less varied.
but i realized that the female cop has really good acting skills... and kayoung's smile is so cute.

meh
The female lead suffered a lot of “too stupid to live” syndrome, and it was a little annoying and dragged that she’d do way too stupid stuff and you’d have male mc chasing and nagging after her. Like… HOW MANY times did she decide it was ok to walk alone through alleys in the middle of the night knowing somebody was stalking her; or to enter alone the place she knew was dangerous?!! And then you have male mc being the one that manages things or “saves her”, like, I think there were way too many of this moments. Besides that, their relationship was nice to see and I liked that the writers didn’t make it insta-love, the brief scenes of shared moments of care and comfort that were portrayed in the restaurant when she had nightmares, along with them actually talking through their issues and admitting to their flaws, made me believe in their romance.I do have to admit that I was way mooooore emotionally invested in the romance of the second lead couple. I think both actors were able to convey a lot of emotion in their scenes, and the “we’ve known each other intimately and know each other’s vulnerabilities/still care” just made me hold my breath at their interactions. I wish we had more scenes between them, but I was glad for the ones we had.
I think that what I liked the most was the relationship between female mc and her mother and grandmother. The three actresses did an amazing job portraying a close family, and their scenes were hilarious. Their scenes were so comforting and I loved the twist about (the grandma being the grandma in-law that considered Bokhee as her true daughter).
Regarding the little sister, a part of me was hoping that she’d just been kidnapped and adopted out or something, and we’d see her introduced as another character (the female cop crossed my mind) but if that happened I think it is something that would’ve been hard to believe as well. Same with the father, I was… kind of waiting for him to appear on the final episode after his inquires took him elsewhere. The scene in the forest was bittersweet but very well done.
The music was good, I really liked it, It was a little bit overused like, sad scene approaching “that song” and so on, like they’re nice songs but it was a little like “ you don’t need to put the song every time, you can let just the actor’s acting make the audience feel things without trying to influence them through the OST”
