Refreshing Concept
The show brings together incredible singers, fantastic songs, and top-notch production, and the chemistry between everyone is amazing. It’s refreshing to see all these well-known artists in the music industry interacting and having fun, with no filter when joking around, yet still being professional and delivering outstanding performances. I also love how the show gives music producers, who are usually behind the scenes, a chance to shine and bring us fresh, original songs, rather than just covers like in typical singing shows.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
One of the best Music Variety shows: funny and filled with great songs
My absolute favourite music variety show!! TIME FOR ME TO YAP!!Cast: 10/10
Watched it for Zhou Shen, but fell in love with everyone else. They all have amazing personalities and every episode is always filled with laughter. I really enjoyed watching so many talented singers who are passionate about music and are also very humorous! Absolute fire cast. The games played at the start is a good way to show everyone's fun personalities besides the music aspect!
Favs: Zhou Shen, Huangzi Hong Fan, Xue Zhi Qian (these three omds they are EVERYTHING), Shan Yi Chun (she's such a sassy youngster and a beautiful singing voice too)
Fav guests: Zhang Liang Ying (she has great chemistry with the mains she felt like a main!!), Liu Yu Ning (this show made me love him even more, tall, handsome, funny and sings really well.
CONCEPT: 10/10
I LOVE the concept of producers bringing in original works and having the singers fight to sing the song. It's always enjoyable to listen to the first demo, see which singers want what song, and then the final performance. It gives a new insight on the behind of songs and I began to appreciate the lyrics and production of songs more when hearing the singer's comment on it! Also it's cool that they had rlly famous and well known producers come in too. Oh and the lights segment where a singer could guarantee/steal a song is very interesting! I love watching them discussing with the producers, sharing why they like the song and the meaning behind it and seeing who gets picked. Bascially I love the concept HAHA

like Zhou Shen said, "can we talk about the music?!" BECAUSE ITS FIREE. every episode is filled with many songs and omggg I can't get over it.
some of my favs:
1. ALL OF ZHOU SHEN'S PERFORMANCES! He is my everything his voice is everything and the songs he chose are EVERYTHING. I can yap forever so if u guys want HAHA)
2. Xue Zhi Qian's "租购 Zu Gou". You guys don't understand, this song is the highest viewed and most viral I'd say. The lyrics are so meaningful and when they said it reminded them of a friend who has passed :( The composer who came just for xzq, and that being listened by him was enough. I'M GONNA CRYYYY. I LOVE THIS PERFORMANCE SO MUCH. THE LYRICS AND THE SONG BROKE ME.
Ok I'm gonna go on forever but special mention, Huang Zi's Do U and 赫兹1520, Liu Yu Ning 's 想给你写首歌 and 这蔚蓝 , Chen Li Nong' s 没有了 and 我好像现在就把你忘了 by Zhang Liang Ying and Liu Duan Duan
OVERALL:
I love everything about this show. Cast, vibe, concept, music. I love yapping about this show sm 🙏🙏 oh ya i also like their outfits and the last episode (gala) is so fun, revisiting songs and having duets.

A joy to watch- you get ALL the feels!
I really enjoyed this show, for many reasons:1) the concept of this show is fresh (I’ve watched many reality music shows) and it was interesting to see the interaction between the singer/songwriters and the established singers.
2) getting to see the stars/famous singers/actors in unscripted situations, playing games with each other, having natural interactions with their peers and the writers, fighting for a song and general goofing off.. it’s so priceless, and unexpectedness hilarious at times.. I almost peed my pants several times watching Charlie teasing his cohorts and other antics throughout the show.
3) a unique platform given to (in some cases) really struggling artists, to showcase their work and make their songs available for immediate consumption by viewers.. what an amazing opportunity for them to boost their visibility in the music industry..
4) many high and low moments taking us on a roller coaster of emotions..
you really get a sense of the writer’s perspective during their songwriting process, their muses and life experiences that have shaped and sparked their creativity, and their love of music and what drives them to continue down an unknown and sometimes unsuccessful career path..
I gave this show 9/10..
The only thing I would say needs improvement may actually be an IQIYI issue, not a Melody Journey issue:
The episodes are really hard to follow in the correct order, based on how they are listed on IQIYI’s platform. There are supposed to be 11 episodes, but there are over 40 listed on IQIYI and in random (not chronological) order which had me re-watching episodes several times before I noticed I’d already watched it and it must be a duplicate or in the wrong order.
All in all, I am still eager for the season 2 they’ve already promised us!
